I bought my Opinel at a gift shop in Paris. All the other American tourists were buying T-shirts and little Eiffel Towers. When I said “Opinel si vous plait” the shopkeeper perked up and treated me like royalty. It was one of the highlights of the trip! Not a great fan of the French but you have to respect any peoples’ national knife.

just seen the other short about the saw - thanks. By the way, France also does a good line in casual clothing, if you ever want to move away from denim top and bottom. I know it is your thing, but I did see you once in a lumberjack shirt.

@@parkwood25311 I bet when they are confronted by a bear in the middle of a blizzard half way up Denali, those little Eiffel Towers will come in handy . . ., while you will be as warm as toast in its belly, having killed and skinned it.

(Shouting into the cold, hot breath branching into the still night in brief blooms that echo the unseen tops of the surrounding trees; whose canopies deaden echo of sound to barely-there reverberance that one must quietly strain to hear before ever speaking to perceive it at all.) "Nosferatu! Foul beast! Blood drinker! You slither under cover of darkness, thinking yourself unseen; yet all whose veins run hot with what you covet needn't eyes to find you. You've the form of man yet reek of inhuman, pestilent rot!" (a twig cracks from somewhere within the inky darkness beyond) "You've trod these lands for millennia, killing countless innocents to feed, defend yourself, and no doubt played at petty sport from time to time to entertain your brilliant mind. (a rustling of brush, now closer.) Yes, you are certainly wise and experienced beyond any man who has ever lived; but in the thousands of years hunting your choice of prey, you've no idea the disadvantage placed upon yourself when faced with a meal that's prepared to hunt you back. Even now you draw nearer, your ancient pride built upon countless hunts ending exactly as you wish them to - but tonight?" (flips toggle to activate portable, name-brand U.V. flood lamps, immediately followed with an unintentional grunt of confusion from the left. very close.) "Tonight you WILL meet your end, and I deeply regret that I can only do it just the once." (pulls down expensive NV goggles to see all that the lamps cast their invisible light upon, including the definitive outline of a nonplussed historic nightmare, eyes eerily luminous from within the pallid face.) "Tonight, you discover the power of a man that Acts Accordingly™"

@rickstephens1130
@rickstephens1130 Жыл бұрын
I really like the content, and I enjoy some of the historical, and current ideas that were used, and it's educational. One of my goals was to be employed in the forestry service and the parks and recreation. I have all of experience and knowledge mostly of what it takes for the tasks, and in fact I was qualified because of my experience. Because of what the person had said that I was talking with. But I had an issue with my driving record that I had to clear up, which I had done before I was able to get hired on. During this time period I had gotten really busy with the current job of tree service and logging I was on. I was thinking about a career change and before I knew it I forgot about that change and stayed with my current position. I am retired now, and I have thought about the opportunity for the forest service job. I am not to old yet, that I can't keep going .I have had a few surgeries since I retired and I have slowed down a bit. Probably mostly because of my age.

Your humor is blooming as well as your gift of transmitting good culture to the masses. You're a friend to many more than you have enemies. And those are just jelly. Wranglestar is such a cool guy…. Sage wisdom and ingenuity. Our men today do lack these men of yesterday. They’ve been effeminized, marginalized and told that being the can do, protective , strong and even assertive man that built this country is not to be celebrated , no it is toxic. If I were an enemy how could I attack and soften military Agee young men ? You are living it. Guys like Proho are a big part of the answer. If I’d of had a dad like proho I’d be very different, to the positive.
