Honestly they are not worth the effort imho, we put everything into a relationship, our money our time , constantly trying to be the best we can be and yet if we make ONE mistake or lack in one area a woman will jump on that. Meanwhile they do NOTHING and expect us to be fine with that, A women I've known might make an effort for the first year or so and then it's like they think they then own us and can just stop bothering and just boss us around. Imho its women who need coaching now not men, we are quite happy without them and their drama. I'll add that I'm married and have a daughter, my wife knows how I feel and we stay married out of mutual respect and love but there is no effort in the bedroom and hasn't been for many years, sex is not everything but it's pretty difficult to have a married without it if I'm honest.

@@judyperri9496 you know nothing about me, my marriage, the sacrifices I've made, the pain I've suffered not just in marriage or my attitude , never get personal on KZbin comments, have discussions about attitudes in general definitely but never get personal. One big reason is you never know how fragile someone might be, one comment like that could push someone over the edge, people commit suicide all the time, Always think before commenting , if what you are saying is not constructive then dont bother. But we all have to learn , we grow with experience, I'm just pointing out the general attitude of women ( or girls) is pretty childish selfish and self defeating. Men are supposed to be simple and we are easy to please yet women cant be bothered to fulfil those simple needs yet expect men to fulfill their ridiculous demands and wonder why men are walking away.
@scottvoss9023

@Judy Perri It is your attitude, the same attitude many women have, that is the problem. Why should men be held responsible for learning all things that women need for a relationship to work, but the same is not expected of women learning what men need? I put effort into my relationship every day; help with the kids, clean up the house, do the laundry, be flirtatious with my wife, letting her know she is sexy and beautiful, a simple card to put a smile on her face, surprising her with flowers or inpromptu dinner and drinks out, listen to her about her day and her fristrations. However, many days, I feel like there has been no effort on her part to meet my needs.

@@FlyingFun. buddy, if that comment makes you feel suicidal, please go talk to someone. I think it’s more likely that you are gaslighting that lady for her very true comment. I’d bet you do something similar in your female relationships. Take some ownership. If your in a bad relationship, you’re partly to blame. I’ve NEVER seen a failing relationship that was all the fault of one person. It takes two to make a relationship good or bad. Sounds like you’ve got some maturing to do. I don’t mean it nasty, just honest.

To be fair Caitlyn, female-on-male domestic violence also exists and is very underreported due to 1) embarrassment and stigma on the part of the man and 2) the societal tendency to view female-on-male physical lashing out as being somehow ‘lesser’ or ‘not really counting’.

I’ve been married to the same woman 33 years. It has been an odyssey of emotions and working through problems over the years. Finding a doctor to get her hormones balanced has been a miracle cure and opened up a lot of avenues, but she still has trouble communicating what she likes or wants to “change it up” and keep it fun for both of us. For her “vanilla” works most every time. I still live by the motto “ladies first,” even in the bedroom. Although, sometimes I know when I lose her mentally and emotionally during intimacy because it is manifested physically. Great list, Caitlyn, but it definitely doesn’t all hold true for all women as you said.

@@j.a.6866 Same as for me. Went to a bio-identical hormone doctor, got blood tests to confirm hormone and blood levels, and then subcutaneous pellet insertion via a 1/4" incision and a trocar. Changes were in the fact that she actually had a libido again. She also received some estrogen via bio identical pellets, which assisted with lubrication in her vaginal lining. It can be a bit expensive, but it was well worth it, in my opinion.

I absolutely hate when women say “tell me you fantasies” or something similar. Any man who is stupid enough to give any information, knows that all her friends, fitness instructor, cousins, nail technician, sisters, her hairdresser, business colleagues, the doctors receptionist, her pilates coach, PTA, soccer Mums, neighbours, the baby sitter, sorority sisters and probably her mother let alone all her social media platforms, will know all your intimate details with 24 hours. Just look for the smirks, giggles, rolling eyes and more smirks next time you meet one of the above. Worse is the tutting and shaking of the head and raised eyebrows. You just know she has broken the bedroom secrets rule. Never, ever, ever, ever tell a woman anything you don’t want the whole world to know about in graphic, colour, 3-D , wide screen, Dolby sound detail.

It's is always up to the man to know what women want and how to satisfy them regardless of how different each one of them are and how they change on an hourly basis. Men are simple. If you love us the way we are today, then love us the way we are tomorrow. We don't change the way we are every other day. If a woman remains true to the relationship, we'll love her more ten years later as we did from the first day. Women should stop raising the bar to unachievable heights that men just can't reach. They may find that they have a whole lot better relationship when they put men more on an equal ground as opposed to getting men to change to how women think they should be on Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday.

It might seem overwhelming for those who want simple instructions and a yes/no format, but of course, you are describing all woman, a broad topic ;-) It's also nice to hear after 35 years, I might have figured a few things out! One thing I would add, is that over time, as the newness wears off, true intimacy replaces it. As much as I might thrill to the fantasy of a different lover, I know that I would miss the true intimacy that time creates. "You and I," would replace "us." Rather than meeting a friend, I would find a stranger. Possibly exciting, but ultimately tedious, having to start all over again.

Women who get bored and everyone gets bored in the bedroom time to time a woman getting bored in the bedroom chances are her body count is too high and that is the detriment of sleeping around because you get to a point where you're never satisfied with your experience. If I’m too much let’s take it easy and it doesn’t have to go in all the way. Honesty is key in and out of the bedroom. Thank you for your advice.

Another fantastic video and numerous fantastic tips. It's tough to figure what is right for women, because, as you say, women change all the time, their bodies, their mentality. There's an old saying - men marry women thinking they'll never change, but they do; women marry men thinking they'll change, but they don't. A generalization of course, but often enough true. Both men and women need to get this kind of advice and open themselves up to the changes we want.

To be quite honest I'd sooner go without completely than have to remember a laundry list of expectations. Nearly 4 years voluntarily celibate now. I just can't be bothered being apparently wrong or lacking in some way all the time any more. I'm 49 and have completely retired from trying to please women. It's like trying to ice skate up a hill.

It's really not that difficult. Most of what she's saying you should have known by your mid to late 20s. It's literally as simple as showing interest, knowing the female anatomy, being very observant to her body language (before, during, and after) and adjusting accordingly. They're pretty simple concepts. Something she didn't mention - If you're not sure or you're overwhelmed because you're clueless: Just ask her. On the rare occasion I've had to ask what does it for her, I ask her to show me what works for her. She puts on a show, you learn what she wants if you didn't figure it out. Put the ego and insecurity aside and put the work in.

@@Swearengen1980 And what's in it for me? Really? A financial drain, restrictions on my movements, sharing my house, having to justify this and that like she's some kind of royalty while she does whatever she pleases and claiming controlling behaviour if I have anything to say about that. I learned plenty in my 20 year marriage, and the main thing I learned, whatever you do, say or give, is that it's never enough Nah man, I'm out. I simply don't care what they want anymore. I'd rather be on my own and just please myself, too old for all that noise.

@@disaffectedmale And there it is. You had a bad experience for 1 woman and you project all of that onto every other woman. There are an awful lot of women who are not the narcissist that you describe. You're broken and just scared of getting hurt again. You need therapy. But hey, if you're fine going through life angry and bitter at all woman just because your marriage sucked. My ex wife wasn't much different. She didn't care what I wanted, she refused to get a job after the kid was old enough. Shit, I pay a good chunk of child support despite having my kid over 50% of the time while she now has a job and lives for free in a family member's home. I know what that anger and resentment does to someone and it greatly contributed to the heavily alcoholic years I had after the divorce. Then I woke the hell up, got help, and I still see a therapist regularly. And as a result, I've dated some good women. It didn't ultimately work out, but they were good people. If an angry, hateful, miserable alcoholic like me who was content on drinking myself to death in my free time can get my life together and do a 180, anybody can. Of course that will never happen if you don't stop this woe-is-me, self pity, bullshit. Even if you wanted a woman, they'd run like hell at the first hint of that mentality. But hey, if you want to die alone and miserable because you can't get over your ex wife F'n you over, well good luck with that.

@@Swearengen1980 Well, that's okay then because I don't want a woman. If you think a couple of paragraphs is going to undo the rightful dislike I now have for women then you're madder than they are. Unlike most things they get handed to them for simply existing, they actually earned my distrust and contempt. I'd sooner cover myself in gravy and jump into a crocodile infested pit than deal with another one. It's inherently safer and considerably less painful. At least the crocodiles wants and needs would be honest, crystal clear and wouldn't change every five minutes depending on it's mood. I'm cool with being on my own , last year I bought a really, really fast brand new motorcycle without having to justify spending my own money to some self appointed female overlord. I quit my job in June and never got nagged about being a deadbeat because my available cash to spend on HER was impacted. I spend as much time as I like playing video games as I want, without having to endure the Fem-police pulling faces and making disapproving comments. I don't have to constantly entertain a permanently switched on attention vaccum cleaner. I don't have to spend money on dates, flowers, clothes and lavish gifts every time she feels she needs to be rewarded for breathing in and out. I don't have to share my house with someone determined to erase any of my identity or personality from the surroundings. My house is like a giant man cave, it's awesome, electric guitars, a HUGE 4k TV with PS5, motorcycling and sci-fi and movie memorabilia everywhere I want to put it, a colour scheme that doesn't resemble a make up sampler, beer fridge, a freezer stocked with things I like to eat. If I want a loyal companion, I'll buy a dog, unlike women and despite a canine brain being about the size of a walnut they actually understand the concepts of loyalty, honesty and gratefulness. All of which are frankly beyond the majority of women out there. I'm not sifting through any more garbage looking for a diamond, it's a waste of my time, emotions and energy. I've got twenty or so years left of good health left before old age kicks in properly. Those years are for me to enjoy not to be spent on a never ending treadmill with the speed gradually being turned up by a woman who can't be satisfied with what she has. I thank god I never impregnated the last one and have no children, it's meant I never have to speak to her, or put up with her demands ever again. That's my payoff for 20 years of busting my buns trying to please the unpleasable.

There are a lot of fair points, however I think it's unfair to just go straight to us being violent if we can't control our emotions. Most of us just end up either removing ourselves from the area (ie. Go for a drive) or argue to a point where we just give up, stop talking, and ignore her.

Off the end of a boat to back of a parked motorcycle. A Hammock to the top of a forest fire tower in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Well, you get the point, 33 years, she went cold turkey and tried someone else ride... If she was bored, we could have worked something out. May I add my endorsement to many other comments below, in thanking you for explaining why any hope of establishing and maintaining a long term relationship with a woman is futile? So, your advice is to simply seek out short term, sexual encounters......and forget being able to maintain the excitement and "newness" a woman requires over time? You have generally confirmed what many of us men learned a long time ago. I don't refer to myself as "going my own way"......I've been "sent" my own way, by women's indifference.

There is nothing sexier than a woman who is honest and open. We know when you are keeping secrets, and if we are really into you, those secrets will kill the relationship. So speak up before we give up. When we give up we get the blame anyway. And expecting us to keep up with all your changes is pathetic and one sided if you are not intent on us and our needs/desires in the same way. Only 1 female i have been with has really engaged with the act. The others lie there and expect me to do all the work and know all the right buttons. This is backed up by every guy i have ever spoke to or heard discuss the topic. The majority of guys would love to give the greatest performance for her and truly turn her inside-out with the rolled back eyes, arched back, and toes curled like the witch in the Wizard of Oz. But with so little engagement from the females, many of us give up really trying.

Yeah the main reason why men clam up when we catch feelings is because we don't want to escalate the situation because logic and emotion don't match and when a man wants to explain things And talk things through a process of resolving and understanding all women do is react to it emotionally and we feel like we're not gonna get a solution or a conclusion it usually ends in a woman Is boiling over and wanting to break up instead of resolve.

Thank you for sharing. Some good stuff posted. Also reminded me why I took a break from relationships and dating. Loving a woman is a lot of fucking work. We have to be providers, patient and thorough lovers, romantic, spontaneous, ambitious, charming, outgoing, manly, chivalrous, caring, understanding, supportive, be open but not too open or else you'll look like a pussy and that's just to name a few and a woman can still get bored with you. There's some amazing women out there, but this shit is a full time job in which you're at risk of losing your job any day. I get there are shitty or unknowing men who need to step their shit up, but why is it always on men to be everything? Imagine if a man told his woman he was bored of their relationship. Will Smith is an accomplished and caring guy and his wife has been bored of him since before they got married. Not here to shit on women, but some women truly need to appreciate what they have. Not every man will be the Prince Charming mold that's expected of us. Some need to learn and that's okay, but we get so much pressure that's rarely acknowledged and our efforts aren't appreciated a lot of times. I miss being in a relationship sometimes, but I'm not all that broken up about being single. They take a lot out of you for sure.

Yes, we men know how to describe our emotions; we know when we are hungry, when we are tired and when we are hungry. Those are the emotions we know how to describe. That being said, I don’t think it’s fair to lump every man into the statement “women get killed when men don’t know how to express themselves.” There are millions of men who treat their wives right even when she is not behaving in respectful ways, and a few hundred (which is still waiting to many) women who are abused by their man in this specific situation. TOO MANY, but it’s not across the board. In truth, far more men die because we don’t know how express ourselves than women who die because we don’t know how to deal with our emotions.
