Totally agree, if you can't be together then you shouldn't. If someone needs space, they're not into you. Sure, it's ok to have a day or two to do different things, but being totally separated for more than a day or two every now and then goes against human relationships history...

@@marvinthemartian9584 There's a difference between being a nice guy and being a good guy. I agree with you, but I think people try to group all "feminists" into a toxic bubble that doesn't really exist. All women want a man who is self sufficient and is willing to tell them exactly what he wants. What they don't want is someone who tries to force them to do it. A partnership comes from two people understanding what each other want and being happy to, or at least ok with, providing it for each other. If that includes a guy who wants to be a dom and a woman who wants to be a sub, that's great, but the dom needs to establish permission, not just try to force her to enjoy it.

You know, this is more than just having women find you interesting. I think it is important in employment interviews, especially since hiring panels are many times composed of most or all women, but I am a great listener, always have been, it is far more interesting to me than prattling on about myself to anyone. Just yesterday I found out that a neighbor just three houses down from us had lost her husband. He also had been a friend of mine, and we had a lot of fun talking about stuff. Lately I had not been out a lot because of various things and some surgeries I had to deal with myself, but as she was telling me of losing him I decided that I would employ every ounce of my skill that I could. She is a good woman and the situation was sad, but I really wanted to give her a safe venting platform and show care to her, plus a great nice hug too..... Good gal....

Legit advice. Space is one of those challenges that occurs, especially with 4 kids let alone 1. So take the kids out and give mom her time to her. Those busy work days away from home get rewarded with a warm rejoin. Also, be flexible; it doesn't always work as planned. Just an add on to this great vid from a man 17yrs married.

Great stuff. What a breath of fresh air listening to such intimate and important topics with such wisdom and coolness and fun. I do think creating this need to be “high performance” is creating additional pressure on so many young men. Especially those, that didn’t have the right mentorship when they were younger. Why force another performance expectation, every thing in life is already about that. Money , status, professional success. Why not call it high value/ high esteem.. instead of high performance.

I agree with most of what you have said. As a man married for 27 years space is key. Although you have to be careful about the friends you keep. If you hang around single guys they will want to do what single guys need to do. Like still go to the bars, need wingman and it can and will lead to trouble. I find that you need friends that are in a relationship as well. It takes that scenario away. The biggest thing for us is trust and communication.

Invest in yourself. Go do things that you love to do, or haven't done in awhile. Bury yourself in it, passionately. Go camping, buy a bike, join a chess club, help at a homeless center, do 20 laps of a pool every night. Buy a bike a rediscover your town on two wheels. It's fun. Switch it up. Live your life for you. Invest time to you. And the energy will become new and alive. But do it for you. Not, in the hope that your partner will change, but so you have a better quality of life. And naturally, it spreads in to her experience. And talk to her about it. Last straw. Divorce.

Have a hobby and bury yourself passionately in it two nights a week. Do it for you. Exercise is a great way to swing the mood too. It always makes me feel more alive and fresh to the moment, which naturally spreads in to your perspective of your partner. Choose something new to do. Maybe something you did when you were younger, and put it down for some reason. Art, chess club, public speaking group, helping at the local homeless center, gardening, woodworking, take a class, a new language, riding a bike for a hr every night to explore the place where you live. I visited my girlfriend, who was visiting her family. I brought our bikes and we cycled around her home town. She saw it from a new perspective, with new eyes. Her town became more relatable and personal. She saw things she'd never seen before. Buy a bike. You gotta find a way to invest in you, which automatically, makes you invest in your relationship and your world. Things magically become alive.

What if she says to you. Tell me that you want me ,that you don't want me to go away from you. Tell me that every day. That means she's playing with your feelings to right. Thanks for your videos I really like them.

Married Orthodox Jews follow the "family purity" laws. When the wife is menstruating (and 3 days after) the couple have little to do with each other. They don't have sex, they don't touch, and stay apart for all that time. In modern times this was explained as making the couple more dear to each other while apart so when they do get together it's more special. (Essentially what you're saying here) HOWEVER, the rate of divorce among Orthodox Jews in no higher or lower than secular jews or even all people in general. No there's real live experiment.

I understand having space is important for your relationship but what if every time you go some where and the only thing you can think about is being back next to her and you would rather ignore and forget every thing your doing and rush to. Get back to her ?
