These are standard batteries with a carbon rod down the middle. The black stuff is manganese dioxide mixed with carbon. Pretty harmless to take apart. As soon as it rains your black rub on will run and drip everywhere. Honestly a mess. Don't ever disassemble an alkaline battery as the potassium hydroxide they contain dissolves organics, including skin. He put the batteries into a skillet just to make the thumbnail look interesting, and yet say it was part of the video. How does this channel have 228K subscribers?
