It's a nexus by police, courts, judges, lawyers.. Their focus is not to render fair and quick judgement but to make money and prolong the case as long as they can. For most of the false 498a filed, woman has no evidence. I don't know why, police and the courts ask for the evidence when a 498a case is filed with police or case is filed in court. Based on the evidence, if the court feels this case is maintainable, then they should send summons and start the trial. Otherwise, they should dismiss the case due to lack of evidence...

I agree with most things but two very important facts have been ignored in this discussion: 1. That just because all laws are potentially misuse-able is no excuse to not do anything about well established misuse of a particular law especially if the misuse is well documented and established by the all the High Courts and the Supreme Court in innumerable instances. 2. That the nature of the mediation in CAW cell is always that the husband coughs up a fortune or an FIR will be registered. This is quite counter intuitive to the stated efforts of stopping the misuse. The very fact that this discussion is being held is because something needs to be fixed.

I am making young man aware of these laws and they are just too afraid to marry especially those who are working very hard to build house and there life they understood the importance of self preservation money is hard to eatn and it is very hard to earn again after loosing it in false cases done by wife.

In many states there is no mediation centre, and procedures are going on as old days. Although, the mediation centre is just a centre to recover ransom from husband and his family.

Problem with gynocentric laws are that they assume men to be guilty unless proven innocent and onus on proving innocence lies with men and only accusations by women is sufficient to assume guilt of men. Second problem with the gynocentric laws is that these are the only laws where there's no repercussions of misuse, and if there's any, it's a mockery at best. Another problem is that the Indian law assumes that women on men crime cannot happen, a man cannot be a victim of a woman perpetrator, when it comes to rape, sexual abuse, and for that matter, even asexual domestic physical abuse.

Moreover men aren't expressive therefore they tend to keep things like anxiety and panic to themselves which rots them from the inside. Women have made this law a tool to harass innocent men and their family. Shame on such women. Karma is watching.
