Thanks learnt a good deal about the religious history of Ireland and Northern Ireland. I think that the sectarian conflict between Protestants and Catholics did much damage to advancing the Kingdom in Ireland.

Going out of the house at 7 in morning and seeing things being brightened up by the daybreak, and seeing in the morning mist humans going to school in this tiny tucked away town, and starting their day off at work, opening stores, driving off into the sunset, off to the office, is a strange sight to witness, to sit down and stare at, and think about and gaze upon and ponder, and an amazing thing to paint. Very surreal it is. It's dead out there around 3 or 4 in the morning except for a few cars and here and there a person, or people, getting off the bus to walk to the jobs, or back from a drug run on their way home, or a late night fling. Then right about after 4 you might pick up a glimpse of a trash truck or two picking up dumpster bins. But at 7 I walked out and there wasn't too much going on and it was still dim out, and then within a dozen minutes or so it all seemed to happen at once; the sky was teeming and glimmering with colors and all a flare, and people were popping up all over the place coming from everywhere.

Balkanization according to Oxford means: to divide (a region or body) into smaller mutually hostile states or groups. Balkanization is the fragmentation of a larger region or state into smaller regions or states, which may be hostile or uncooperative with one another. It is usually caused by differences of ethnicity, culture, and religion and some other factors such as past grievances.

Humans are habitual creatures by nature. But habit wasn't man's original state, for you get into the habit and don't start in it. So man's first state wasn't natural.

Christians invented the modern world. There were no moderns around to create it. They didn't show up till the modern world did. Did the moderns exist before the modern world, and are the more primitive of the two?

Dying is a fantasy. Nature is good math, numbers. Numbers can't die. Rocks can't die. See, nature can't die. Creatures can die. See, nature dies. I'm sound math, a number. I've always existed. I was used by bad math, faith, to form the universe.

I think I find in some catholics talking them looking at two sides. And the world, it seems to look from one side. Then there's my side which says there's three sides. But that's just one side. So three sides is one side.

Institutionalized Protestantism is not quite like its Catholic counterpart, nor is the untouchable status of its clergy , but the same departure from scripture is evident. Call no man Father or Rabbi for you are all brethren..the greatest among you will be your servant.

I believe Ireland at the beginning of the 19th century might give us an idea what our own world ruled by Davos, Klaus Schwab, George Soros and the One World Order would look like if they had not been stopped. England was the Davos of that period and I don’t think the Irish were even allowed to own a horse. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I grew up in Ireland during the troubles. I am in South Ireland where we had a lovely Catholic upbringing. The North was worse. The troubles in the North weren't basically Catholic vs Protestant. It was a political war going back to the British forces been visible in a sovereign country. People that were Catholic were mainly republican and protestant were very pro British.

As a Calvinist Mohler believes people act the way they do because they are programmed by God to do so or so I thought. All of the things they decry about societies today they should rejoice in for that comes from the hand of God. Hogwash!

@@jimbuford4147 Well I would fully affirm human agency and responsibility as it is clearly taught in the Scriptures even as it is set beside clear teaching that affirms God's ultimate sovereignty (Acts 2:23 for example). If we take those two aspects of the Bible's teaching seriously we have a tension between them that can feel uncomfortable, but resolving that tension by ignoring one or the other will result in a distortion. Better to live in it and affirm all that the Scriptures teach. Blessings.
@jimbuford4147
@jimbuford4147 2 жыл бұрын
@@philsdronelyshots Are you saying every person is responsible for his actions and thoughts even though God in His sovereignty causes him to act and think a certain way? Taking it a step further will every person have an opportunity to be saved and if they are not it is because they through their own will rejected the Lord. Perhaps their will is programmed by God as well? First Timothy 2:4 says that God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Since God has retained ultimate authority over the actions of men His desires will be met will they not?
