"dont worry, screenshots can't be taken" You're joking right? You know better Shannon, you're a host on hak5. There's ALWAYS a way to take a screenshot, and always a way to rip the data out of the app. Frig all you need is to take a picture of the screen if all else fails.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I bet you could plug the phone into a computer and take a video of the app with adb.

I came to say the same thing, there is no way to prevent anyone simply using another device to literally take a shot of the screen.

Walter K You can't, we tried via ADB and it was unsuccessful. Obviously you can take a photo of the phone, but that kind of goes without saying...

Seriously? I guess I see how they could block screenshots on android, but iOS is what boggles me.

Walter K Yup. Oh! We also tried an on-phone screen recording software. That didn't work either. It just blacks out the app every time you open it in the final recording.

Tested on iPhone 6 running 8.0.2 and you can take screenshots of conversation. Makes an audible noise on other users handset.
