Aditya Sarmah graduated from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, in 2018. He has previously interned in the chambers of various advocates/senior advocates and Indian law firms. He completed a Vacation Scheme from Allen & Overy in 2017 and is currently working as a member of the Banking & Leveraged Finance team at Allen & Overy.

A Vacation Scheme is normally pursued by penultimate year law students. A Vacation Scheme at Allen & Overy, like in a few other law firms, gives Law students a great way to understand the functioning of International law firms and what work is done by them. Candidates pursuing the vacation schemes are given various chances to be involved with the work of the firm as well as experience the corporate culture at their place of work.
