Yes. And it's not the long words that do it it's the short ones that lend to conciseness. It gives off the impression of refinement. Being too wordy comes off badly. A deep voice, refined vocabulary, upright posture, and a sense of humor is enough to get any woman, especially if you have a nice face.

@@bmwright1991 To tie something else into this; breathing. Most humans typically breathe wrong - lifting the chest and shoulders, essentially “top down” breathing when it is more or less supposed to be “circular.” You breathe in a 360 degree circle around your body, not top down, allowing for more air and less anxiety (breathing short is a part of fight or flight.) Every child will breathe correctly, but around the age of 5 is when variances occur, likely due to school. You see children enter an average 13-16 hours a day sitting, and they develop unhealthy habits to the small things like breathing.

As someone who’s a practitioner of communication there are so many variables to consider to make a proper impact. I’ve come to realize that communication is 80% listening and 20% speaking in a way that’s understood by both parties. You have to have a purpose and be genuine in your intent. Just know if you ever come in contact with someone who communicates well know it took constant trial and error. This video was well done!

Is it a coincidence that I only just discovered the meaning of the word, “cadence” in a book today I was reading? It’s great to see you upload, Narrator, this instalment definitely exceeded my expectations!! Although these tips are valid and I would say instinctive on a certain level, they can be difficult to apply when you actually end up in these social circumstances, due to nerves or general situational awkwardness. I also think one of the best tips to apply in these endeavours, is to mimic the verbal and physical mannerisms of the person you’re with, even subtly- or to blink slowly when maintaining eye contact, especially when the other person is speaking, not just to combat fatigue, but to indicate attentiveness and comfort in company or surroundings. In cats, blinking slowly is used to gain trust, which I thought was interesting.
@TheMeansofSeduction
@TheMeansofSeduction 3 жыл бұрын
Kiera! Hello and welcome back! I hope all is well. I’m happy to see you here in the comments and grateful to know you’ve stuck with the channel. Yes, absolutely! I agree that mimicry is a subtle way to earn someone’s trust in conversation, and usually it lessens their discomfort to recognize similar phrases or body posture in the other person. I learned through trial and error that sometimes it really is worthwhile to camouflage and chameleon my way through conversation with particularly nervous or sensitive people. Before, I took such pride in my self-presentation that I thought it would be a disservice to reduce myself in any way that would not be “authentic”, then I realized this social game requires a certain degree of ego-displacement so as not to bulldoze over certain types of people. I realized, often, I just need to quiet down, nod, and collect data from the other person - effective seduction rarely seems to be about showing yourself off, it’s more about learning as much as you can about the target and leaving them with very little about yourself. I learned to save myself (my genuine self) for the few trusted people I know genuinely care about me, and that only giving concealed bits of myself to others was a good way to not only conserve privacy and intimacy but also emotional energy. Mimicry is a great way to calm someone so they almost don’t notice when you finally start speaking in your own voice and not with theirs. Also, interesting tidbit about cats! Thanks for sharing that and thanks for watching and commenting. Take care!

Amazing. Resonance and cadence seem so simple on the surface, but they’re actually powerful and hard to put into practice. It takes time and effort. This isn’t easy or common sense. Controlling one’s emotions to actually use the voice effectively (and then influence someone else’s emotions) is difficult but very useful advice.

This made me realize that I sometimes do the opposite of what is recommended here. If I am in a situation in which genuine empathy & connection are what's called for (& maybe I'm coming across a bit too confident & know-it-all-y), I adapt my speech/breath patterns to allow for more emotion & more variation in cadence. Years of public speaking have given me a fairly resonant voice, so I'll dial that back a few notches, too. Sometimes I spook myself with this stuff! Listening to this video made me realize how much of a seductive talker I am. I get a lot of compliments on my voice and on my way of speaking. I also realized how I do calculate my speaking and get a lot of people to confess or open up easily. I didn’t know this until watching this video that I, myself, am the seducer.

Its true... Seductive isn't necessary but a beautiful or pleasant voice can do charms and some are naturally gifted, i remember i fallen for girls only with beautiful and pleasant voice when they speak, the tone... Not too high pitched but medium pitched soft warm tone of their voice made me fall for them...

People are often intimidated by me and I think it’s partially due to the way I use my voice, silence and presence in general. It’s interesting to connect that experience to the concept of a seducer. Haha someone asked me one if I had the jezebel spirit perhaps they were picking up on my seducer tendencies.

I have become irritated at my voice lately and have been figuring out a way to change the way I speak. Not in a way that would be unnatural to me, but rather in a way that would be more fluid, slow and alluring. When I'm around people, I for some reason become more nasal and higher pitched which really irritates me and I also speak much too fast at times (which affects my stutter). Thank you for the video! I also became interested in adapting vocal techniques from singing into my speech pattern like Marilyn Monroe did to help reduce her stutter :) seemed to work great for her

I've been hearing different things about my voice over the years from quite many people. That it's apparently rather deep and very soothing and that they could listen to it for hours. Told me, I should consider doing podcasts or record meditation chants. But when I listened to my own voicemails, I was always disgusted by the sound of my own voice. So I always put these "compliments" down to "they're just saying this to make me feel good".

Interesting. Maybe there is a subconscious reason why you feel like that about your voice. You should analyze yourself, maybe think about past experiences connected to your voice or to other significant people from your life and the effect their voices has had on you. Usually we have a rejecting feeling towards an aspect of our inner world or personality and in manifests in strong dislikes towards exterior traits that we have.

Gotta hit this real quick, as I'm sure voice coaches already did. A little more closed jaw and lips with a lot of space in the mouth is what will actually provide a lot more resonance that's gonna bring out some good overtones. The overtones are what give the sound a little more brilliance and it's this brilliance that alludes to more depth. Think of Morgan Freeman's voice vs. James Earl Jones. Morgan's relies on a lower register, where, while James' sounds lower, his is much deeper and booming because of this small adjustment. It's usually hard to see them doing this in movies but that's what's going on. close the lips a tiny bit and make more space inside the mouth. Then you're resonating a lot more.

For women, speak In a low breathy tone. I have a naturally light soft voice & I get complimented on my voice. Speak slower a well, there Is no rush & love slowly. Talking fast & loud appears chaotic. Expand your vocabulary as well, you don’t have to speak as everyone else. Stand OUT not IN.

For Guys talking to Women, pay attention to how often you choose words rooted in emotion versus rooted in something technical. Make a conscious effort to add words that make her use her imagination, think of boundaries and make her laugh all in one go. Most guys want their emotional state to remain constant. Women prefer to have peaks and valleys of emotions. If you can get good at checking those 3 boxes (boundaries, imagination, laughter) on a routine basis, your experiences with Women will change profoundly. A conversation like this, "I got a new car. It has 450 horsepower. We should go for a drive sometime." can be transformed into something much more alluring and exciting with minor changes. "Let's go for a drive in my new car...it's fast so you'll probably get scared. Don't pee on my seats or you'll be walking home." The content is the same. "New car, let's go, it's fast"...but the delivery in the 2nd one checks all the boxes. She will think "How fast? Too fast?? Scared? What will he do if I get scared? Pee?! What...you won't actually make me walk home, right? Right?!" Making a conscious effort to sort of smudge and blur the lines of jokes and boundaries can drive some Women wild. It not only makes them feel like you are in control of her emotions (which Women LOVE) but it conveys a sense of confidence most Men don't fully grasp. If you own the fact that you can tinker with her emotions in a playful way while genuinely making her wonder when you will enforce the boundaries she will be thinking about you constantly. Especially when you do enforce them. A BIG part of seduction most Men are unaware of is how much "boundary enforcement" can turn a Woman on. Tell her upfront "don't text or call me after 10 PM" or "I sleep in on Saturdays so no early texts". Something that simple will make her want to break those rules just to see how you behave. She will break the rules on purpose in the hopes that you follow through with a form of "punishment". It doesn't have to be anything over the top...something simple like "Well, I was going to invite you to get some Ice Cream but brats don't deserve Ice Cream" followed with a selfie of you actually eating Ice Cream can lead to wildly passionate sex faster than you realize. ;)
