For all of those people claiming Kamala was not voted for in the primary. When you voted in the primary for Joe, you also voted for his Vice President which was Kamala. If Kamala decided she didn’t want to run, then the delegates would vote and choose another candidate. After the primary it is in the hands of the DNC and the delegates and that probably would have taken a few weeks to sort out. That candidate would be behind in the polls and funding. A contested convention wasn’t the cleanest way to go to give the best chance to achieve the goal. Which is defeating Donald Trump.

Yo, this DNC was lit! I know I'm a millennial and haven't seen many, but it felt like a party with powerful people having a good time while getting our message across loud and clear. On the other hand, the RNC looked like a funeral. Vote blue, man! Harris and Walz all the way! We got this, America!

I’m in the military and had to grade a medical reserve unit from Puerto Rico. It was hilarious since they only spoke Spanish to one another and the other graders I was with were mad but couldn’t do anything about it. I spoke Spanish, so it was fine. I just translated everything.

I have never experienced such energy and enthusiasm. Whoever decided to do this music theme was brilliant. It took the enthusiasm and fun to another level -- 11 on a scale of 10. The whole roll call with the states sharing their joy and dancing had me weeping tears of joy. On so many levels -- it gave me joy to see all the women and minority faces. To see and hear all their enthusiasm, and hope for our country getting out of the dread, fear, negativity, violence and back-tracking on democracy and freedom of Trump and the MAGAs. Fingers-crossed HArris + Walz win in a decisive manner and Trump can truly be sent "nite-nite" from getting involved in politics ever again.
