a 'hit' means the system 'saw' a plate that is associated with a stolen vehicle. It can also look for missing people and what vehicle they may be in too, if they downloaded it to the system.

+A Han Not that I’m aware of. I’ve been told the camera can still see through them. Most of the covers are used to defeat “photo” enforcement.

So Mr. D. in terms of especially trucks let's say crossing a crossing where motorist operator mechanically flip their license plate, how quickly can this plate reader catch the plate.
