If You owe back Federal income taxes totaling 50k or less You won’t have an issue obtaining a Passport. Anything more than 50k and You can still get a Passport if You have already entered into a payment plan with the IRS and are current on it. Sadly though with child support, your Passport is usually revoked and/or You are declared ineligible for a Passport if your arrears totals 2500.00 or more. Talk about a sad and unjust reality where You lose your ability to carry a Passport for being behind only 2500 in child support whereas no issues getting one if You owe taxes to the Fed less than 50k…SMH

I went in the Army at 17 years old and law enforcement at 28 years. I retired at 52 years old. Having a good wife makes things way easier. Have a good retirement ,you deserve it.

Kind of disturbing this overrules the fourth amendment. I had someone call in for a wellness check in my condo to be a dick and the minute I asked for a warrant they claimed they don’t need if for a check so I let them in and had them search because they threatened to knock down the door. Still don’t know who. But my only advice is if you feel threatened and are coerced to let them in record and make sure you get it on camera that they confirm they are going into your place to look for that individual ONLY so they can’t bust you for anything else
