How everything started, do you remember? My love for flowers and gardening began only three years ago with two random rose roots that were in sale. They grew up fantastic and easy and encouraged me to want more flowers. So far roses, dahlias and zinnias are my favorites. I am adding favorites on my list as I learn to care for them :)

The garden is so beautiful when everything is in bloom. You have so many different varieties of roses. The colours are like an artists palette and the beauty of it all is breathtaking. You must work very hard and long to keep it in check. I never saw one dandelion. Haha.

I am Bulgarian, I live in the US and I started gardening for the first time here, around six years ago when we bought our house in Maryland - zone 7b. This is a different climate than in Sofia, where I grew up and I keep trying to plant things that remind me of home. The first thing I planted at this house was a bareroot lilac and it bloomed for the very first time this year! I can never have a lush green garden in the hot and humid Maryland summer and I almost gave up on roses. But your beauties are inspiring me to try again.
