I donated to this well deserving family. My heart is broken for them and so thankful that they’re ok. I’m a first responder myself and we always put others first and our needs last…. When I was a toddler, I wished to be a firefighter because to me (selfishly) I thought it was an easy job,earn money whilst doing nothing until someone carelessly start a fire & just put out the fire. Here I am seeing this realise its just like participating in a Warzone

Hi Pam Avery. It is because in some jobs it is awkward to use jewelry. I do manual labor and even a ring in the finger can cause discomfort when shoveling or something. Also, rings breaks those disposable rubber gloves pretty easily (I use those when doing car repairs). Sorry my English.

I think it would help a great deal if many of the kids from the burned-down-school, could go to the next assigned school all-together, to be with their friends. A good counselor could visit each class each day and let them vent and grieve, all together. It will give them courage and strength to carry-on, collectively.❤
