Having said that, even if their identities were hidden (they should have been imo) they still may have voted guilty as that was a brutal arrest that should of been handled differently, and almost certainly resulted in the death of George Floyd.

How is he supposed to look? You can't judge someone, or a situation, by a few snippets of videos. The crowd was yelling obscenities & threatening him. Should he have laughed, cried. What? He didn't yell, could have maced Floyd when he resisted with 3 other officers, Floyd yelling in car couldn't breathe 40x to get attn or get out of an arrest. He ODed. If paramedics there sooner no case. Apparently few people bothered to watch the trial and evidence.

Agree, noone should have to die from a drug overdose. We really need stricter laws on drug use, perhaps the police should all resign now. I would like to see how the community handles these situations with social workers. Chauvin will likely be found dead in his cell before he can appeal.

If you were on trial like this you would have to prepare yourself for the worst outcome. He also knows that he has a very strong appeal chance. The judge already stated that a guilty verdict is likely to be overturned. He will get another trial.

He was panicking seriously and I felt so bad for him. He's still a human being, having his freedom taken away, but then again he took someone's life and his sentencing won't bring George back. It can never compare. This whole thing was avoidable, if only he had just cuffed George and put him in the squad car! The videos they presented in court plainly showed how the ex-cop used excessive force on the victim which was the cause of the victim's death, nothing else. All that health and drug use that was explained by doctors on the stand in court was to investigate whether or not it had something to do with his death which obviously was not the case, as Chauvin's lawyer was hoping it was just to rule out the excessive force to pin on the victim's own demise which Chauvin's lawyer tried to convince the jurors which was also not the case.

How sad for both parties in the case, this could have all been avoided. Floyd could still be alive and Chauvin could still be an Officer if they would have just kept him in the backseat of the Squad and never let him out. What a tragedy... 😔🙏✌️

My heart breaks 💔😢 , Chauvin threw his life and career down the drain by making the wrong decision. 😢 Floyd lost his life and now his daughter will grow up without her father. None of this would have happened if G.Floyd did not resist arrest. He would be alive today if he had just followed directions, of course swallowing all the drugs in his possession might have killed him, anyway, but at least he would have medical treatment for the O.D.. Anyone, black, white, or brown, is asking for trouble when they resist arrest. That can lead to death.

Yes, there's something seriously wrong with someone who puts their knee on a neck for 9:26 and then pleads "Not guilty" after their victim dies 3 minutes before they let that knee up, instead of following their Public Service training. Anything else new?

The greatest surprise of the trial was how the entire police department testified against their own. In a world where most every cop will rally in support of each other cop, you will rarely ever again see an officer have so many members of their precinct testify against him. Once the entire police force testified against him, that gave the jury almost zero resistance in their deliberation.

I know the judge said Waters saying if justice is not served. To go back out on the streets can cause legal troubles later for this guilty verdict. Maxine Waters should have just kept her mouth shut until after the verdict.
