When you talk sh*t, there will come a time where you have to back it up; and for your favorite aunties Bridget Kelly and Mandii B that time has arrived.
The ladies sit with songwriter/artist Pardison Fontaine for some grown (15:00), honest (40:00), and some {not so) slightly toxic conversations(1:20:00) and break down some lyrics from his new album titled SEXT8PE.
In this episode you can expect to hear:
(5:00) Growing up in New York and introduction to Cardi B & collaborating on music that ages well like “Bodak Yellow”
(15:00) Pardi’s song titled “Pay Ya Bills” and which bills he’s actually willing to pay
(21:00) Lyric breakdown for Pardi’s new song “Complainin” and the things that Pardi complains about
(25:00) Do women like to argue or are men silently antagonizing them with their “chill” demeanor
(35:00) Can men and women be just friends?
(48:00) What does “baggage” in a relationship look like?
(58:00) The truth about the musical landscape for songwriters and working with A list talent like Beyonce, Kanye, Cardi B, etc.
(1:20:00) Thee Person lyric breakdown and the real reason Pardi responded to Meg The Stallions single “Cobra”
(1:32:00) Pardi talks about being “newly liberated” and his thoughts/new experiences with Polygamy

I love Bridget’s interview style, while she draws on her own life experiences to relate to the interviewee, Bridget also knows how to draw a line and remember that more than likely she’s knows more about an interviewee than they do her. That allows connection without her being over bearing with an opinion or statement that’s not in agreement with her moral compass. Mandii just be fun and wildin’

Just a few observations from someone that was born at night, but not last night. 1. He is definitely a gaslighter and manipulative. He may not realize it and think it’s just clever or playa. 2. Those of us that followed Meg and her career or that know people that know her before the world knew her, noticed immediately the compromises she made. She unfollowed a lot of friends that were men and removed them from her circle because of his insecurities. Yet he continued to follow his ex’s. IG models, strippers, etc. interacted with whom he chose, but attempted to limit her associates. 3. He is the typical guy that thinks he can have his cake and eat it too as long as he is sending flowers and taking care of “home”, not understanding that cheating takes a toll on a woman’s self esteem and mentality. He wanted to humble her. 4. If she had not been in the head space she was. It’s no way she would have been with this man for 3 years. He met her at a time when she was emotionally vulnerable and promised the world. 5. I am not saying he is a bad person. However you and not cage a free spirit like Megan. I don’t think she cheated at all. I think they had break ups and reconciliations. Perhaps she entertained others on break as did he. That’s just my opinion. Finally good luck to him. But he has a lot of growing up to do. He is emotionally stunted in my opinion. He is mid thirties to 40 depending on the source. His new girl is 25. That is his mental age. He met Meg at 25. She is now 28 and may have outgrown him mentally and spiritually. I’m just saying. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do agree with Pardi, some men (not all) do not see you the way you see them. They’re looking for opportunity. I had male friendships that stopped reaching out as soon as I got in a relationship (and these are men I considered my friend, who I told personal life happenings to). That’s when I started being more selective with who I allow in my circle. This goes for women too, but I never had a woman stop reaching out because I got a boyfriend.

You can tell Pardi knows this situation with Jada won’t last because it ain’t no relationship. She’s clearly a rebound! If you watch the Angela Yee interview he ain’t even comfortable calling her his girlfriend because in his mind she’s not. She’s just someone to have “fun” with for the moment. She hasn’t promoted any of his projects but goes with him on his interviews where most of the conversation is about him and Meg? Very weird behavior! Pardi is still in love with Meg. I hope him and Meg can sit down and talk through this.

The gamer comment is very ignorant, every gamer is not a bum, some guys play to unwind after a long day of hard work. Just because of your own personal experience, does not mean every gamer is the same. And last, there are also girl gamers, I happen to be one and also run a small business as well. We as humans have the ability to multi-task. The same way women spend hours on their hair, nails, waxing, shaving, etc. Does that stop women from being able to work or do other important things? There are things we do as women, that can be seen as a waste of time too. Be open to not only seeing things from your point of view. There are also people on Twitch making large amounts of money by gaming, they aren't broke, nor or they lazy.

I think you have one definition of vulnerable in mind. And in the case of the male friend..that is just around waiting to fall out of the friend zone..vulnerable would be when you are pissed at your man and maybe out on a drink are two and in your feelings. The woman is still responsible, but why would you want to hang with a man that likes you..when you know you wouldnt want your man to have a female friend..that would smash if she had the chance@@planetz1111

@planetz1111 unless the person is intoxicated a grown adult knows if they are vulnerable…if that person is still consenting then they need to hold themselves accountable.

The chick with the short cut is a joke. Pardi only responded after Meg made the song. She didn't use his name but lets be real we know she was talking about him. They both caused the breakup, Meg lied to him and he cheated. The chick with the short cut is defending Meg and making him seem like the villain.

You can 100% believe in legal equality/ social equality/ emotional equality AS WELL AS gender norms at the same time. And the biggest difference is my success isn’t determined by my femininity. Gender norms in a relationship are completely different. No I don’t want my man in the club dubbing a soul train line of females. That has nothing to do with me being afforded the same opportunity to excel in a career EQUAL to a male co worker.. Or ! Yes I am at the head of my company because I do a damn good job. But at home I prefer to cook and clean and do laundry and stay inside and yes I can wear what I want but I CHOOOOSE to carry myself with discretion. My partner can not dictate what I wear but understands that I have every right to choose. Just because he did not agree with the way his ex moved/carried herself in a relationship doesn’t mean he’s not a feminist. Idk if he is but when speaking about his daughter or the meaning of the tattoo he’s been very consistent..
