I remember being SO HYPED after hearing this line as a kid, when I played it when it first came out... My beloved Rayman 2 got a sequel... and now, Rayman 3 is so, so awesome, and it's gonna get a sequel too? Can't wait? ... I've replayed both Rayman 2 and 3 dozens of times... I remember briefly looking at some "Rayman" 2D stuff and Rabbids stuff and saying "no, that's not Rayman 4..." and waiting still... and waiting, and waiting... at some point I just stopped. Something magical that Rayman created in my imagination just died. Seeing this... made me weep. I can't imagine why a character so cool with such a huge fanbase couldn't get a proper release in so many years... now my son plays Rayman 2. Maybe when he hears this line in a couple years, he'll be actually getting the game I waited for... who knows, we'll see.

Rayman never got the proper treatment it deserved all because of the Rabbids, hopefully one day ubisoft will realise it and the Rayman 4 you can imagine will finally come out, I got some hope since Rayman has appeared recently from Ubisoft (yeah a dlc to the Mario Rabbids sparks of hope and Captain laserhawk) hopefully this could mean that a brand new game that focuses on Rayman will come out

Man as someone who got into the series with legends. I remember thinking I got into the series at the perfect time. I thought the series escaped its dark age and it wouldn't be long till I would have more rayman. I mean legends didn't come out that long after origins it surely wouldn't be that long till a new game. In the mean time I could go back and 1 2 3 origins and even the portable games. None of that lasted me long enough.

This is a good part of the reason why Raving Rabbids was one of the biggest disappointments of my childhood. I remember being EXCITED for it, because it was advertised, for a while, as Rayman 4, you can even see footage of how it was supposed to be. It looked freaking amazing. But what we got was nothing but pain, and sadness.

@@mariethememelord9555 No, it doesnt, Origins and Legends are not part of the original trioligy, Yes they have the rayman and a-like everyone loves, but it was made by a different project and rayman became more dummy-like than wreckless and the hero that he used to be, now inflating up to a balloon by a single hit, as someone who have played: Rayman 2, 3 and the other Series Origins and Legends, they are not the same. They’re not even a continuation of the Series, please stop comparing Them to the original trioligy, is like comparing Star wars sequel to the first ever Star wars trioligy, they are not the same, never Will be, Origins and Legends are their own stories and continuation of eachother, but they do not connect to the original rayman trioligy. That is why people still are looking for a rayman 4.

I recommend Rayman 2 also along 3, yea the graphics aren't the greatest to this days standards but it's a great game. Those games are the why it hurts so much that there never was Rayman 4. Origins and Legends are okay but they are just... not the same in any level. They didn't scratch the Rayman itch to me, those were just some games

I really don't understand why the series stopped there and took that turn. Don't get me wrong, Legends and Origins are both great game but still I think that both art and atmospheres from Rayman 3 were NEVER exceeded. I would love to see a sequel with the same art direction, it would be insane nowadays.
