I thought it was my cat meowing, so I put you on pause to go and see what was wrong, but she was sound asleep, all curled up on the couch. Slightly confused I came back and started watching you guys again, when you mentioned that Freya was meowing....lol! I think I may try a few of the seeds you mentioned, the vines in particular. You two are naturals in front of the camera....love your videos!

Shanghai bok choy! Grew up eating this. It is a staple for hot pot and is just served raw and you cook it in the hot pot with a bunch of other raw meat, seafood and veggies. But my favorite way to eat it is sautéed with garlic, oyster sauce and sugar. Served with char siu (Chinese bbq pork) on the side with jasmine rice. The best comfort food I grew up eating. I have grown them and they are super easy to grow as well!

Yeah! Great job, gentlemen. I have just started my onion and geranium seeds, along with adding a few more bottles of seed to my winter sowing collection, this week. Now I’ve finally began organizing all my other seeds, and figuring out when I need to start them. Doing all these tasks, and potting up some of my houseplants, is what will get me through this winter. Brrr! Can’t wait for spring!

My dears, you can grow watermelon in small areas. I grew the sugar baby watermelon and I trained it to grow up a trellis. I ended up with 8 watermelons. I did put a sleeve on them so they could be supported (I wasn't sure it was needed, but I felt the weight might be too much for the vine). I look forward to seeing you succeed and rip the rewards in the summer.

This type of list is so inspiring for home landscape and manageable edible garden! At this point, lots of cutting garden flowers or massive amounts of produce just aren't for me. Appreciate you doing the research for us! I planted marigolds last season for the first time- Alumia Vanilla Cream, and the only drawback was they attracted more attention than my perennials. I got the most compliments on the marigolds!

Good morning Christopher and Eric, great choices for your garden, the Angelica, Castor bean, thalictrum will be wonderful accents. Be careful with the ageratum, that variety can be very invasive, make sure you cut it back to the ground by the end of October so it does not reseed prolifically, I am in Virginia and made a mistake putting it in the garden. You both again have inspired me to start some of my seeds, we finally got the snow I so much desired😉have a great week, take care.

Well I thought next year I would start seeds, but looks like I will this year. Ordered the containers and seeds. Im worried about the first seed, Angelina looks nice but for me its to close to hemlock/queens lace. Any plant that looks like that is automatically removed from my garden. Just like mushrooms, I remove them as I'm not good at classifications on what's poisonous or not. You should see me with gloves, glasses and mask. Did you ever get the kind of fear, or found that you were allergic to anything?

I did! Turns out the sap from the bronze fennel gave me a photosensitive reaction. Nothing painful but five months later I have a little dark spot on my wrist
