Hi. I made sesame oil. But I don’t think this machine is used to mix jaggery with oil. But be very careful while using sesame seeds as this can clog the machine. Use small portions and clear the pulp for every batch.

Have you tried extracting oil with the heater off? Wanted to know if we get same amount of oil with heater off? With the heater ON this will be a hot press and not cold press right?

Correct . ideally we should put the heating on. However even with heat setting on its classed as cold pressed because of the rotations that it will do to squeeze the oil. There is a little variation in the percentage of oil extracted.

The machine doesn’t have many moving parts. So it’s easy. But it’s the rest of the things that adds up like filter , cups to collect and spatula etc. #housewifeproblems

As long as you filter properly and don’t leave any residue it will last around 6-7months. Some of our friends had it for a year and still using
