I’ve often left comments with timestamps on various Souls playthrough videos - partially for my own and other viewers enjoyment, but to some degree also to help upcoming YT’ers find importantvor funny clips again (Mati Gago, Mapocolops, BruhItsMike to name a few). Especially considering how many hour-long episodes there exists of Souls series plythrough’s, I’ve started leaning more towards shorter videos with mostly highlights (like Zanny). Lobos got content for HUNDREDS of these videos!! I still remember his first Lady Maria kill - finished her with his gun. First try.

Merry Christmas everyone. Truly a phenomenal series of games! When I first started gaming many of the games I played were still great fun but often topically monotonous or frustrating. Through much of them I was unsure what sort of games I really even liked and had many dreams of what sort of experiences I'd like to have in them that just wasn't there. One day I saw a guy play DS1 for the first time and was immediately intrigued. "What on earth is this game" and it consumed my interest for the next few months where I discovered more and more content about it (including your own iconic challenge runs) and knew this was the game I needed. As I found out it was a whole series I can't tell you the excitement I had to try them all. These games fulfilled the dreams I had always had of what a game could be and what I could experience through it. I have loved every single one of them. Thanks for the years of incredible games, Fromsoftware, and thanks for the years of incredible content with good vibes, Lobos.

Bearing in mind I still love other games from other developers. Such as Shadow of the Colossus, Hollow Knight, KCD and Battlefield 1 (bit of a curve ball I know). However, no other game is as remarkably special to me as DS1, Elden Ring, Bloodborne and Sekiro. They were what I was looking for when I didn't know if I even really liked gaming that much. The adventures, the themes, the characters, the exhilarating combat, careful purposeful combat too, the philosophy, the silly but charming multiplayer, the build diversity, fun weapons and spells, otherworldly fantasy locations full of secrets and sorrows. To me these are exactly my ideal kind of games.

I mean when it comes to the actual movesets the bosses aren’t actually much easier in this compared to Elden Ring. Dark souls 3 was actually a bit of a step down in moveset complexity compared to this game imo.
