During this Royal Caribbean Cruise Vlog, Ovation of the Seas visits Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier. We see tons of icebergs from our Junior Suite balcony, eat at windjammer, try out the bumper cars, play bingo, and eat dinner at Izumi.

Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I went on the Disney Wonder and you get so much closer to Dawes Glacier than Ovation did. Is Ovation just too large to go closer?

So fun fact, I have been trying to convince my wife to do an Alaskan cruise for months, finally showed her this video and I think it sealed the deal. (I may or may not have also done this with an Independence OTS cruise, as well 😂) You two rock, love the vids!

Hi Kerry and Brian! What were your travel arrangements for Alaska? We are also from central FL and we are departing from Vancouver by coming back to Seattle. Was looking at Alaska airlines non stop to Seattle and then find a transportation to Vancouver.

We also did alaska airlines nonstop from orlando to seattle! our cruise left right from seattle so we didn’t have to go to vancouver, so we don’t know the best method for that
