Memory of watching Blair Witch in the theater.. during the movie my friend and I thought the sound effects were amazing and so realistic. We come out of the theater to find that a major rain/thunderstorm went on from the middle of the movie until the end.. lol

I love this movie man. I saw it three times that summer. When it came to home video that October, I went out the day it came out and got a DVD player and a DVD of the movie, so it was the first DVD I ever owned.

I love it too. I actually got ahold of a VHS bootleg of it a few months before it came out in theaters so I knew how great it was. That's why we are discussing cut scenes and whatnot.

@@mistah_whiskahs I went nuts with the merch for the movie that summer ! I had that "dossier' book they put out, the comic books, several different pendants and buttons. And I had multiple t-shirts as well. I had a couple of posters in my apartment too. I wanted the PC games, but I did not have a computer proficient enough to run them then. I still clearly recall the day I got the DVD player and the movie, getting home from work that night, hooking up my DVD player and watching the movie and that documentary while pouring through a 12 pack of beer. I ended up watching both of them twice in a row..........

Speaking of which, I actually do have a copy of "The Blair Witch Project" on DVD and that is the first movie on DVD that I got for myself on my 22nd birthday last year! I even popped it into a PlayStation 3 and had a blast watching the film and it's bonus features! :D

I love that bedroom in the beginning of that video, it looked so cool with all of the posters and with a lot of stuff being shelved in the background. Y'know, like music albums, videocassettes and even video games too! So cool to look at indeed! :D

@@mistah_whiskahs I did. It was legendary. It was dark when we went in but I'm not sure of the showtime.

There is something so funny about these guys who are about to see one of the first found footage movie in history while recording this in an old hi8 camcorder that looks like you’re watching a found footage movie.

I think that's why BWP worked so well for me. I was so used to seeing my life through the eyes of a video camera that all that footage in BWP really rang as authentic to me.

I remember how hyped so many people were for this film. It never really grabbed my attention as I didn't care for the whole witch concept or the "raw footage" deal in movies. I remember this film was one of the first if not the first film to go for that "realistic" camcorder approach. Then people seen it and most hated it. I still never seen it so I can't really pass judgment. I assume you must have connected with it though seeing how you were recording lots of stuff. As far as some of the fun nostalgia things I spotted...I was digging your friends Megaman X shirt. That was a solid game but tough as hell! I think most of those games were hard...but still fun! Oh was Geri your favorite spice girl? I didn't really listen to them, but I thought they were all hot except Sporty. I was really attracted to Ginger Spice though. And man oh man one of the most played out songs back then...Pretty Fly For A White Guy. Never liked that song. Which is funny considering I was a pretty big Offspring Fan...or maybe at least I thought I was. Dude your buddy is playing Samurai Showdown 2 on an Arcade Cabinet back in 1999. Not a common sight to see in my neck of the woods. Our local bars barely had any lol. Were you and your friends families pretty well off? I would assume so if you were able to record so much stuff, and that wooded area looks pretty nice. Sorry don't mean to intrude just super interested in that stuff. I would say out of all the movies being advertised there I would have gone to see Austin Powers. That movie was my favorite comedy for the longest time. I was big into James Bond because of the whole Goldeneye thing on N64 and the movie of course. Another fun upload and once again thanks!
