Love how he was wary of the thunder the first time he heard it, and just looked at you to take his cue on whether he should be scared or not. We're teaching them all the time by example, even when we're not realizing it. They're always watching, the sneaky sponges, ready to take on any fears, mentalities, behaviors and insecurities we display without even knowing. But the good part is that they do that with the positive bits as well 😊

It's great how you're teaching him that thunder and lightening don't need to be feared (anymore) and we can just be amazed by how powerful it seems. I remember my parents coming into my room at night to sit with me through a storm. I have always loved storms ever since - the louder the thunder, the heavier the rain... in fact the very best storms are experienced in a caravan. I get a wonderful sense of peace lying in bed and staring through the window at the violence outside. My mother is still with me but we miss Dad. A storm reminds us both of those times. This young boy so lovely to listen to.
