Dear Amitabh and StratNews Global Team, My heartfelt gratitude for your presentation and the video quality is outstanding. The clarity was huge about the mission readiness of the Indian Air Force. Kudos to you and the 101 Arrow Leader "TRIPS" for the wonderful interaction and calmly explain the details to us. Impressed. I completed my 15 years of corporate life and exited from the Managerial role (Worked with TCS and HCLTech). Now working full time on exploring my passion towards Defence, Travel and Lifestyle. I do have a dream to visit the bases and conduct interviews with heroes of our nation and making a content to the viewers. I being an Army brat have witnessed the bravery of Indian Armed Forces. Three to Four living members have served in the Indian Army. I take pride in it. I am running a separate channel "Defence Junction Official" KZbin Channel with small scale viewers. Looking forward to work with you and the team in future. Have a great moment and expecting many videos about the guardians of nation. Warm Regards, Krishnamurthy Ramachandran 😊

Feedback time: 1. Questions were very very generic and seemed repetitive. 2. Questions that should have been asked: - How does the Rafale compare with Chinese fighters such as the J10 or AESA equipped flankers? - What about data linking capabilities with Tejas , SU30s etc. - How does the IAF plan to work with the IN Rafales in the future? - How do they synergise operations with the Rafales in the other squadron based at Ambala. - Given that there are only 36, how carefully are these airframes used ? Can the limited numbers deter PAF and PLAAF from any misadventure? - What advantage does this aircraft give the Eastern Airpower that it didn’t have before ? Lastly, there should have been footage of pilots taking off , interviews with them ( albeit with faces being masked), training routines etc
@manoharjishnu2009Ай бұрын
Honestly it was very disappointing by the end of the video. There is no new piece of information that came out during the entire conversation. The questions seems to very generic and could be answered by Google. And I am sure the Group Captain is an excellent aviator and an ace fighter pilot (I mean he wouldn't be in that position if he isn't that good), but his answers were far too generic and simple just like the questions.

What an incredibly proud feeling and honour it must be to command such a top notch squadron and its obviously well earned. One thing that comes through so glaringly listening to the CO is how tremendously professional the entire IAF is, not alone only just the elite squadron under his command. One wishes that other organisations, departments and administrative units of government could come to become even a little fraction as competent.

Your videos are excellent, and your channel is one of few in India where they get up close and personal with the military's machines, but the videos often suffer from repetition and rhetoric. I wish sometimes that you talked about more than just the same old questions, maybe sometimes show off the weaponry of the aircraft, the systems in the cockpit, ask the pilots about incidents they've had over the years, anecdotes you know? it'd really improve the videos reach and also make them more enjoyable, and also why do the videos feel so scripted? the pilots and crew always feel so uptight and as if they're finding it hard to remember their lines? my family is rooted in the army and I've never seen an officer on such high alert, the pilots should really be able to explain the things they want in their way and not be forced to repeat such boring and repetitive lines !! anyways love the videos and hope you take my points in to consideration, ty!

India needs to develop state of the art fighter jet engines and the overall technologies needed to develop gen 6 aircraft on a war footing. This should be #1 priority for the defense ministry. Japan is developing a gen 6 fighter on its own and India should do everything possible to partner with them. I think France is also developing a gen 6 Rafale and this could be another option. My point is we need to skip gen 4.5 and 5 and go for gen 6 directly, otherwise we will always be in playing the catch up game.

Not like this one. It was designed to be omnirole from onset. It can even be used on aircraft carrier. It is great everywhere. For example the Eurofighter was designed as an air superiority fighter. THis is why the French left the program. EF can engage ground targets but it is bad at it and take a long time to set up for this. THe Rafale can do it rapidly.

These 2 dozen or so jets are not going to make any difference relative to the hundreds of jets China has. The only thing that can and will balance those numbers is if the Tejas MK1A, MK2, TEDBF and hopefully ORCA are manufactured in large numbers. That + Netra Mk 1 and 2 will radically shift the balance of air power in the region. The private sector will not get involved until they see concrete examples of the govt absorbing domestically designed and produced defence products. Right now the opposite / confusing messages are being sent out with regards to the Tata / Mahindra WhaP, for instance. Although I am sure the govt will eventually place the order, the lack of clarity and long drawn out process sends out the wrong message. The archilles heel remains the availability of a indigenous engine, the really long drawn out decision making, and the low rate of production.

If India would have gone for a twin engine design for Tejas, then it would have been able to use its own Kaveri engines because in that case the requirement for a very very high thrust for each engine does not remain. China has done this and it has used its in-house built engines for manufacturing aircraft. What stops India from doing this. In fact India manufacturers twin engine, super aircrafts, so why can it not manufacture a twin and Tejas? I very strongly believe that Indian Air Force has been very very stupid in selecting a single engine design which has created so many constraints for itself. The sooner they wake up and realise their mistake. The better will it be

Group.Capt Saab.can you or someone explain to me whether. such expensive air craft are under a canopy on the ground rather than in underground concrete pens.Aircraft’s on the ground are highly vulnerable enemy missile or fighter or bomb or attack. Lastly, media should not air such episodes as it will benefit our enemies.

trust me brother they haven't gone over anything confidential this is just the air force going over their routine media takes so the people know what's going on, the enemy would be better benefitted by watching that fighter movie than watching these videos lol. and to answer your first question, no these aircraft are most likely in outdoor hangars not in bomb shelters, but this doesnt make much of a difference since their stations are out of range of a ny feasible bombing attack and any missile imbound to such a airbase would be intercepted by our air defence systems.

Dekho jo impact 200 Tejas se padta hai war mai wo 36 rafal se nahi padta.. hum ko aisa fighter chahiye jo war k time bhi hum produce kar sake in India
@AaditSharma-uc8lqАй бұрын
can you go back to watching alfa defence or whatever chindi choot defence channel you see who just spout nationalistic propaganda, tejas mk1 is largely based on foreign components so its fair to call investing in rafales a reasonable decision until we actually reach a level of self sustainability
