The only downside with your round the world trip Sam, is we don’t get to see Tony on a regular basis!!! You need to encourage him to set up his own channel. He’s hilarious. I can’t bring myself to watch the incredibly childish low quality Toms channel to see Tony who often appears there.

Personally I love Alfa’s, the SZ is in my top 5 favourite cars and I regret not buying a near perfect one when I had the chance, it was a huge mistake. They are a labour of love though, the SZ was gonna be my special weekend car which is all it ever could have been as even the new ones are not good enough reliability wise to consider owning one as a daily!

He should go with the BMW 1M for the trip. Install roof box for added space & practicality. It has loads of character, limited edition so would hardly depreciate. Add some great stories to it, not only it will not depreciate, people would pay more by the time he wants to sell the car. BMW is pretty much in every country you could think of, it will be a lot easier (compared to Porsche) to get parts and help, should he need them.

Get a 997.1 gt3. Cheap, fun, reliable (PIN THE COOLANT LINES). And if you got a lil partnership with exetc to fit a tarmac spec rally suspension, you could take it everywhere on comfort and performance and keep it as a collectible with a tremendous cool story.

Am I the only one to think a DB9 Aston (v12 Vantage, DBS... I'm note sure about the budget for the car, but the range is quite wide) would be a really good option? Nice ride for the trip, pretty sporty still, with some space, etc... Not the sportiest car sure, but heck if you're going for 60k miles you'd better watch your spine and not go full race car, and I genuinely think a DB9 would sporty enough !! I really like a Bentley, but unfortunatly I think you'd get bored with the weight... :/ But I guess the KZbin game is mostly about "newer car" (you wouldn't even go for the C63, which you love, because "the new one is coming, just not soon enough"...), I'm even surprised you listened to your heart for the 360... But please consider! If not a DB9, maybe something similar, and not necessarily THE NEWEST, and could have damn good cars, still reliable, if you'd accept to go a bit further back in the years...

I know this goes completely against the driving style you enjoy. However for character the Land Rover Defender has plenty of it. It is also quircky, fairly reliable (parts and shops everyehere) and I'm sure you will bond with it. Cheers, keep up the good work!

A Bentley?? You do realise that in Australia they are AUD$600,000 to AUD$800,000 cars?? If you need parts or repairs it will cost multiple thousands of dollars. Shipping of parts alone can take days if not weeks and cost thousands

By far the best car to tour the world would be a 991.2 911 Carrera 4 GTS. Comfortable, reliable, 450 hp and AWD for the in climate weather you may come across. Run winter tires for the snow.

Your clutch safety switch is bad on your GT3. It’s fairly common and a very easy fix. I believe it was a recall or service bulletin about it back in the day
