My main gripes in my 3.2k hours are the disgusting monetization+removing the trickle BB's from accolade cards and the lack of upkeeping their promises with server improvements, desync ruins the gameplay, all the other server issues ruin the game.

I preferred low visibility weathers, I don't enjoy getting headshotted as soon as I step foot anywhere near the boss compound. It's also a bit easier to escape a sandwich if there's low vis.

They are not permanently removed, they will be added back. New engine update takes time to update everything. It’s a Live service lite at the end of the day.

Event fatigue is real (9,5 out of 12 months per year is Event now) and if they don't fix their base game then nobody will play their future Event Versions of it for sure. Analogy: You most likely watch or play football/soccer because you like the base game and not because there is a soocer world cup very two months and the lawn is painted in different colors every day. Hunt looses its identity somehow if Vanilla Hunt is not played anymore.

I've been playing a couple of years. 2k hours in this game and this is the worst state I've seen the game in so far. I'm on console and didn't notice any server issues until this event, trades are happening every game, silencers are everywhere, people don't push (ever), MMR is broken, blademancer is cracked, and I could go on. Honestly have little desire to play at this point.

Hunt went the same path as pubg, constant new content because new is good regardless of quality turning the game into a meaningless meme of random deaths regardless of skill. I prefer to remember the game as the atmospheric every shot counts shooter it started as that made it unique. Sure the cod kids like Hunt now but they also like 10 other games like it that they move onto when the memeing gets old....And here we are.

There are many weapons now make skill unnessesary. Hunt becames a spray and pay thing, thats good and bad. The need of good teamplay decreases, because the equipment. I would love an event called kommunism or kinda when there was only the frontier, the sparks and two handgun types. a non bleed grenade and thats it. skill over gamble spray boombolts are fun, yes okay, sometimes even creasy chaos funny, but that stuff eats the essential idea of hunt. Devs need to let every shot count more again.

new guy here from COD console (Ranked player). I just started playing Hunt when it was released on GamePass. I love this game!! Love that cross play isn't allowed. The Hunt community is pretty nice too. A lot of issues with COD, I can see this game doing well on console for GamePass holders.

Really though! I took a break from it maybe a year ago, now I'm back and I think it's better than ever! I play a mix of Bounty Hunt and Clash, both are fun. Clash is great for the times I just wanna jump in and play a quick game with some gunplay, try a different load out, etc. I'm a horrible twitch shooter in games like CoD, but Hunts emphasis on communication and careful shot selection, I'm consistently at about a 1.25 K/D in the five stars. Not getting blown out of the water, but not dominating either. I love it.

I feel like there used to be a little discussion on game direction back in the day and now I think they are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks and who cares if it doesn't? There's definitely big pull from the top to make changes. That was clearly seen with the UI update. I have no clue of where we are going next.

I think Bounty Clash is the smartest thing Crytek has ever done with the game. I hope they move further in that direction. Maybe some sort of round based mode without objective, everyone has the same loadout and they can balance the payout so there's a reason to play Bounty Hunt still.

My only issue with bounty clash is that it split an already smallish and dwindling playerbase. Combine that with them widening the MM pool to fill lobbies and some games feel REALLY unbalanced.

Sooooo, watched the video, I get that Huuge is a big name in the community. I get that his opinion resonates with many other players opinions. It’s a game we payed for, it’s a game we constantly support by grabbing the BP etc, just wanted to get this out of the way before I get into my gripe with Huuge’s attitude these past few months, an attitude he is 100% valid to have, I clearly give him support by watching his videos. Call me whatever you’d like, I’m just stating the obvious. Huuge hates this game, he clearly doesn’t enjoy playing it anymore at least from my point of view, I hop into a couple of his streams, I watch his videos, but every time he has something to say about the game it’s always negative. Things change, the game has to evolve in some shape or form, some won’t like it, and some will, I being one of the ones who is glad with the state of the game right now, it’s fun to play with friends. Obviously Hunt is the main game on his channel, it’s his career and I hope it gets HUUGE! But coming from someone who used to get excited for a new upload, to now dreading that play button do to the truckload of criticism I know will surely be said. Blame the devs, blame crytek, blame the malones of the post, or a more simple option just stop playing the game. Huuge can due what what Huuge wants to do. Just wanted to give my feedback. Just like he does. As I tell everyone with any game ever, if you don’t like it, DONT PLAY IT.

Engine update stole 30 FPS from me and forced me to start using DLSS which makes everything oscillate between my desired resolution (not even max settings) and the blurriest low fidelity garbage ever. To say I'm displeased with that is an understatement.

Honestly everyone suffers from the “Dunning Kruger Effect”. Too many people think they speak for the community in its entirety. Too many people think they understand balance when in reality if the game was perfectly balanced it would be boring. Some people want competitive play but don’t understand that not every game should be an esport. Complaints here and there. some valid, most not. In reality you are too invested. I see 3k and 4k hrs played and cringe. It’s too much… you need a break. You think to viscerally towards something you love and it will kill it in the end. I chose not to get into game development for this very reason. It kills the fun in the gaming.

Hunt has sadly began going in downward spiral from unique PvPvE extraction shooter to mainstream Warzone like gameplay. Monetization is now clawing your eyes every time you end up in main menu and recent content added some items that are absolutely not consistent with 1896 era. We're still getting new dlc-s every day but bugs,trades and server issues are constant. Hope Crytek will come around soon because Hunt was one of the kind experience in gaming market and would hate to see it go to waste. Also, best of luck in 2025. everybody! The game literally became a rat heaven now, they wanted to end stalemates in fights and make it quicker but ended up creating a game that is just a big stalemate... They nerfed silencers like vetterli not a long time ago so they could add 500m/s krag and maynard SNIPER??? silencer... Good job on ending stalemates and making the game more fun, now you gave the bush dwellers perfect weapons to never have to come close to the compound... Judging by the current situation I am personally facing while playing in 6* lobbies the game is dying, having balls is not rewarding in any way, and the games take so long to come to a conclusion that it is getting more boring every day. They probably nerfed the uppercut to prepare us for the arrival of a mosin sniper silencer variant, I really hope smth like that happens so I can finally press the "Uninstall" button and end this toxic relationship. I loved this game, it was perfect the way it was, now I feel it is slowly dying because of poor decisions to make a hardcore PVP into something its not. Had to write this somewhere and get the burden off my soul.

In every competitive game I played in the past, there was always a learning curve. I went to play in the new mode, for God's sake.. They put me with hunters with less than 200 hours, and the most incredible thing.. On the other side there were kda farmers in a closed group. This game is a bad joke. And I still hear people asking for region block. If they close the regions, this game is over.

Me and my friend both bought the game. I'm playing without issues, but he can't play. The game throws him out of lobbies and says he has cheating software installed. But he has never used cheats, and he can play every other online pvp game we play together without issues. Not sure what this is, but i sure hope they fix this.

As a new player with less than 30h... Team revive should be removed. You are already at a disadvantage by being solo, when teams can revive, they just push with no regards, knowing that their team members will revive them. Leave necro as is, so everyone gets a chance to revive once. Also playing vs 1000h plus players sucks! Tier system is rubbish.

I have played less than 10 games of hunt this whole month, it sucks as someone who has about 3500 hours between pc and console. I love this game and I still want to love it, but right now work for me has pocked up tremendously and I have very limited time for games. Right now there's about a dozen other games I'd choose to use my limited time on other than hunt. Hope for the best prepare for the worst. Anyways Happy New Year everyone!

Well in our group almost no one likes night maps... we can't play these maps properly in rl daytime. Misty maps are cool but could be less in the rotation.

I don't see Hunt dying but basically this is about it. It will continue the event slop while dedicated playerbase will keep it on life support. Aug 15 was their once chance at making it big, and they massively shat on it. The numbers will continue to decline, casuals will be pushed away thanks to all the power leap exploiters (like who TF enjoys playing against a blademancer exploiter?) and all left will be streamers, crytek partners, sweatlord veterans and cheaters.

I do actually miss the rain. It's also ridiculous how long it takes for the older maps to come back with how little they changed in it. Hunger releasing could be good, might light a bit of a fire under Cryteks ass, who knows.

It's pretty bad right now. All the silenced guns have made the game super ratty. You don't hear gunshots across the map anymore. Every round is completely silent. Getting bars back every 15 seconds further buffs spam and shotguns and nerfs the older guns. So people just hide in bushes and in corners with one-shot weapons or high rate of fire spam. FFS they gave the dolch FMJ because they thought the dolch needed a buff.

I finally got a ps5 and was excited to hunt again since it got put on next gen only. And I hate to say it feels worse than it did before the overhaul update. Game feels less intense and slow. More chaotic and messy. Audio seems super wacky compared to before, i used to hear were people were now evem trying my best it feels super inaccurate

Over Christmas i had 3 friends on my PlayStation friend list "come back" to the game. They bought it early on and now theyre loving it. I have my ups and downs with hunt but im only playing that and off the grid right now. Its the only 2 games i can actually enjoy right now. The xbox game pass was a good and bad move. While im not sure of this game is on PC game pass. The xbox players have had TONS of MnK plays and headshots. PlayStation players are now at a disadvantage and i know it will drive players away.

All the BS getting added to the game but still no custom lobbys (non competetive/do not affect rank&KD, no money or exp gain, just pure fun with friends as if it's a practice mode). I wish there was an official way of going into a map with 10 friends and destroying each other just for fun

I'm a player with 1.3k hours and to be honest I don't really like the direction the game is taking....for example the new map seems horrible to me because of the amount of trees and bushes it has in many places + the problem of verticality being this game one in which if you fall 2 meters your legs break in 2 and a derringer can kill you with one shot, then there's also the change to the color palette (I admit that I was a reshade user but it was because outside of this game there is no other game in which it is so difficult for me to see people and I tried everything with my AMD gpu, color saturation and brightness but it doesn't work, maybe it's also a skill problem idk) and the way of changing or "improving" the old maps which is simply adding more bushes and things that let you see less and that favor the gameplay of "I stand still aiming and waiting for the enemy to do something like put his head in my sights"

Hit reg seems to be bad lately, X marks appear on enemies multiple times in a short period that no way regen shot gonna prevent them from dying.

Console Hunt is better than ever. Also what’s the gripe on trades? I feel like trades are realistic? You both shoot at the same time, and or before the bullet reaches you, shouldn’t it still count?

i'm very sad, for me this game is dead...i play 2200 plus hours, 5 years i think...and with all this bullshit they put in the game FOR ME is no longer enjoyable
