A lot of fans like to make fun of Amy for mistaking Shadow for Sonic, to the point where later games made it a running gag. But really, she wasn't the only one to make the mistake, and at least she realized it shortly. Meanwhile, the police arrested Sonic TWICE and put him in prison, and never seemed to notice the difference!

Only one I remembered is the one during the first Knuckles/Rouge cutscene, where instead of Rouge screaming at the same time Eggman says what, he says what and there's an awkward silence. I want to watch this scene and 3rd installment to be as Adult it can be because it’s based on Shadows story and birth. This just needs to be the way if they are going into this direction. Jake Deschamps they have the same quill type, shadow only has slightly different type with only 4 of them going up instead of down like a super form. The only real difference besides that is color gloves and shoes, the police easily thought that sonic was shadow, probably due to what I mentioned. Not to mention sonic was wearing shoes similar to shadow’s at the time, his SOAP shoes.

It may have it flaws but this will always be the best in My books. Okay. Looking at just SA2 and ignoring future games, I can see why SEGA insists that Team Dark (or at least Shadow and Rouge) aren't a team and just care about themselves. All three of them in this game are clearly using each other for their own benefit, first and foremost. Eggman wants world domination, Shadow wants revenge via destruction, and Rouge wants her jewels. Insisting they never grow to care for others is just ignoring blatant character growth that takes place during and after this game, though. Not cool, SEGA.
