Idk how to explain it, but its like sega sent sonic on a mission for the past 3 years to collect a good amount of income, and at the game awards, sonic sits on the bench and sega announces these like "you can take it easy, sonic, i got this". Sega even confirmed that thanks to the success of sonic frontiers, they can actually bring these IPs back, so I don't feel too off the mark

Sonic can chill at a beach for a minute as Sega cooks these up, and a Sonic Generations remaster, Sonic X Shadow Generations. Sega be wild!

I still find it pretty surprising how aside from JSR, Crazy Taxi was the most hyped of the bunch. Was honestly expecting Shinobi to be the one, but apparently I underestimated how nostalgic Crazy Taxi is.

If they can manage to find and infuse even a quarter of the raw creative energy they had in the Dreamcast era into these games they are gonna be incredible, I think the best hopes are Shinobi, which could go metroidvania, or stick to classic level based action, and Jet Set, because we need some more funky freshness in our lives today.

Man, poor Golden Axe; Jet Set Raido hogged two spots on the thumbnail. Lovely to see a compilation of reactions to these Sega game announcements. 0:15 - Virtual Fighter was honestly the game I expected Sega to revive. Their seemed to be rumblings about it for a while (believe the 5th game got a remake in the Yakuza engine a while back), along with rumours for a new Jet Set Radio. 0:49 - Love how we're so used to Sega focusing on Sonic games that we've got reactors expecting this to be a Sonic game. The "return of the phantom Ruby" prediction was great. 2:47 - Can't believe he'd run off screen; missing out on the Streets of Rage 5 reveal. Crazy to look away from the video during these reveal reactions. 3:43 - The surprise to Shinobi's reveal froze the reaction (an had me worried that this video had suddenly frozen on me). 4:55 - "How many games is this?" is a befitting reaction at this point. So much to take in all at once. Super excited about the new Shinobi and Golden Axe games here. 7:39 - Yeah, quite the surprise the lack of Virtual Fighter. Admittedly, whilst I do like 3D fighters, it's not a series I have particular interest in. As for other SEGA IPs I'd like to see; Ristar is one of my top 10 favourite games of all time.

The thing that got me the most hopeful was the "And more" because I am praying to high Heaven that Skies of Arcadia gets remade. Been over 20 years since it's GC port came out, this JRPG classic deserves to get remastered.

I've always been more of a "Nintendo guy" but it feels good to see Sega back! So many great memories playing with friends great Sega games in Sega consoles while growing-up!
