Sega Saturn HP ProDesk 600 G2 Emulation Review with Batocera for Retro Gaming

In this video, we'll take a look at the HP 600 G2 flashed with Batocera. With Batocera running, we can emulate Sega Saturn like a champ! This isn't a tutorial but an overview to show how capable this little PC is at running Saturn.

I have the larger HP prodesk 6200 with similar specs. I used it and still do for some emulation. I have a newer HP gaming pc that I use now primarily for emulation. It has a GForce 1660ti gpu and an I7 processor. It works great for me. Cool video. My next goal is hooking a CRT monitor or TV to it.

Have you tried the Dreamcast component cable from HD Retrovision? It looks pretty impressive

Nope. Been thinking about it to clean up my setup. I have VGA going into HDMI upscaler for my DC. Had this setup before HD Retrovision were a thing. So I'm on the fence about reinvesting. But they look dope.

@@RetroGameRarities No point if it's going into a scaler. Native DC VGA output is better than those hd retrovision cables as it's doing a conversion from rgb to ypbpr inside them You would only use them if you have a crt with component input or a pvm that has progressive scan inputs with bnc connectors.

Now try with a heavy CRT shader. I've tried these lil PCs a few times but finally just built an ITX PC, out of old parts, with a real GPU (1060). Cheers :)
