I’ve used the same person to maintain my A/C for years. Recently when it was acting I decided to have a new one installed. Well the old one was 25 years old so it was about time. He gave me a quote which I accepted. The day before it was due to be installed he called me to say he had tested positive for covid. He contacted a friend of his who said he could do the job. He did a great job and I was very pleased with it. However I discovered the price had changed when he handed my the invoice. It had gone up by 23%. I called my chap he had a word with his friend and I ended up paying the original price.

Great idea for a show, unfortunately....the BBC no longer have ANY reputational credibility or moral high-ground in this country.....which just tends to make the presenter's uber-enthusiastic expose look tainted and hypocritical.
