Do tell Kelly, How did your ankles and calfs feel the next day. It looked like a work out.

They initially promoted these as something that could be used to roll around town to meet up with friends, etc. I bought them thinking I could use them for running chores and possibly commuting short distances. It turns out they’re only truly good for perfectly flat surfaces. And I tried. I live in NYC and tried these in the street plus sidewalks. It was extremely dangerous. The skates can zoom away independently of one another. Imagine that happening on a crowded sidewalk. I had to stop them from going under a car and into a homeless person sleeping. That’s when I realized I’d bought a $500 toy for indoors only. My mistake believing the promo video.

100% agree. The advertised purpose is completely impractical. IMO all of the backers (myself included) got conned.

I believe the key to these is to think of them as roller skates (not even roller blades). For example, most people won’t use roller skates on carpeting or outdoor surfaces that aren’t smooth. People definitely wouldn’t use roller skates to commute. Like roller skates they’re very limited in how they can be used.

I would break something on those things. Ha. I don't do well on roller skates anyway so I know these would be a challenge. Kelly adapted very quickly it seems. Thanks for the review Philip.

Thanks for watching and commenting! Yeah, he did a lot better than I thought he would and even though they look similar to skates, I would have a hard time finding similarities between the two in terms of actually riding them. 😂

Hi Phillip, those look pretty interesting. Like Kelly, I would need a helmet preferably full faced. Plus a pillow for when I land on my back side. This vid was too long and you both seem below average when it comes to athletics. Not a good demographic representation of those who should test and/or use them. I bought a pair yesterday on Craigslist and after 15 mins of getting used to them I find them to be pretty easy to use. That said user beware, if you don’t have above average natural balance. You will struggle with these.

This was the most boring video I watched all year 😪. Based on the info given, it was 17 minutes longer than it needed to be. If you want viewers, do the opposite. Condense tons of info in a short time, not little info over a very very long time. Just because you have xx hours of footage does not mean you should have xx minutes of finished product. Nobody wants their time wasted.
