I just picked up one of these for $350 USD. That’s the lowest price I’ve seen. They’re all 400-600 elsewhere and it seems there are a lot still floating around. Can’t wait to get it!

@@ClickSpringReview I have to add that after a week this watch is still accurate within a few seconds. I’ve never had a Seiko this well regulated. I’m a little shocked to be honest.

@@JBellman Wow that is impressive JB , the only problem I have with many Seiko's is when it comes to time keeping they can be very hit and miss ,but sounds like you got lucky 👍🏻

I did buy this one, it arrived yesterday. I do like the pseudo-diver design; it does look like something that a salaryman could wear with a suit and no one would raise an eyebrow. Was a bit surprised by the lume pip in the bezel as the current Seiko 5 Sports line doesn’t have this feature. I like that the hardlex caseback put the text and graphics on the underside so they won’t be worn off by skin contact. I get that they made the strap out of calfskin as it’s supposed to be water resistant, but I still think I’d swap it out for nylon or rubber if I want to swim with this watch. The only thing I would have done differently would be to put the “Automatic” text on the dial in the blue bold font of the original, but I’ll concede such a decision would reduce the more dressy undertones of this watch.

Limited edition seiko 5 which actually feels limited, check out the history of this timepiece it has a timeless vintage appeal possibly a future classic due to its collaboration with the cult Japanese series masked rider, 5-10-15 and beyond years from now this watch will be a very much sort after watch at a much higher price at what it's selling for 2023 launch its a beautiful designed watch which oooozes in nostalgia I had to purchase it to add to my collection :) so glad I did :) hurry before there all sold.

There are approximately 6.75million versions of a seiko 5 to choose from. So something for everybody. They are cheap, robust, fairly well made and truly iconic. I personally get far more excited meeting someone with a seiko 5 on their wrist than yet another Rolex This one not so much for me but I encourage everyone to experience a seiko 5 at some point in their life if possible. Just great watches

They are the gateway drug of automatic watches :) Seiko made 80 le models last year alone they are the king of the Le watch lol

@@nesquickchocolat9667 Seiko 5 SRPE55K1 is £200 and has 100m WR it has a in house bi-direction winding movements not even the ETA7750 movement has that, It also has a greater power reserve than the ETA2824, What's the problem with a non-screw down crown many watches which cost 10k+ don't have one and it , Seiko also has possibly the best lume there is which easier matches Rolex. Can you think of many other big name watch brand with an in-house automatic movement for £200 ??? If the movement is so bad why do so many other companies use it. The great thing with the Seiko 5 is also its fully modifiable, I was commissioned a few months ago to make one for a client turned out great

Yeah its definitely something different from Seiko 5 but prefer some of the standard Seiko 5 offerings as they have a more timeless look to them and they cost less which are hopefully in you budget sir
