Seiko Mini Alpinist With A Sinn Bracelet Mod

Here is my Seiko SPB159 with a Sinn H-Link Bracelet Mod

I feel happy that have choosen the black dial of this alpinist rather the green/blue. This black dial can turn to classic railroad style when replace its strap with any brown yellowish leather. And this bracelet really fix this watch. That's super cool.

I agree with you Harsono but next I'm to try it on a white rubber strap connected with a Sinn butterfly clasp :)

What an emotional rollercoaster honestly! Found myself reacting to each of those different points in your story and felt a great sense of relief at the end. The "Oh dear" when you showed that the Seiko bracelet didn't fit the end link was so genuine, gave me a chuckle. Nice video!

That's really cool that it works and do you know what, it suits the watch really well. If you could put a seiko clasp on it, then you'd not really know.

I made a Sinn 556 mod using a case compatible with SKX013 straps (CrystalTimes). I would love an H-link, but only oysters & jubilees are generally available

The sarb and baby both say 38mm. I have the sarb, but someone told me that the baby alpinist is actually a bit smaller than the sarb even though they’re both meant to be 38mm. I’d love to see them side by side and throw in the 556 just for good measure 😂

how does the brushing of the sinn bracelet compare to the brushing on the seiko case ? It is a bit hard to judge from the video. Are the mixed brushing looking cohesive as a whole ? Or are the different manufacturing processes making obvious that the bracelet comes from another watch ?

Hi hbenichi I’ve just been looking and I’ve find something even better the Sinn 104 bracelet has polished center links and matches the polished look of the Seiko more the 104 bracelet is 4mm thick vs 3.6 of the 556 and it looks like you can use the Endlinks of the Sinn , I’m going to put together a quick video showing this later

I recently bought SPB155J1. Although there's no problem with the bracelet but I thought a H-link Sinn or Presidential bracelet will do much better. If I buy an after market then I will have to but online which means I can't check if that will fit perfrectly or not. Can you please help me to point to the right one. Cheers and TIA

I called Seiko UK and they posted them to me think they cost £33 here in the UK

End links for the skx013 don't match the watch that's why I hate strap code they're like hunk hands squashed inside the end links

I'm a big fan of Stapcode bracelets but this time they don't make one dedicated for this model instead use the one from the compass dial model which doesn't fit correct and so for me is a rest of time Choco
