Steve, I always resize any watch bracelet, keeping the clasp symmetrical in the middle of the underside of your wrist. It not only looks better, but (imho) it will always sit and wear more comfortably. Glad to see you worked it out and made it comfortable. I have the same PADI turtle and I love everything about it.

I have the same issue with my Save the Ocean Manta Ray watch and I was looking for a video like this, so thank you very much for letting me know that there is a workaround. I love this watch very much so I will definitely try to do it as described. The bracelet seems to be exactly the same as on the turtle.

Brilliant fix and awesome 😎 Padi Turtle 🐢. I own this watch as well and one of my favorites. I do recommend getting the skx though. I have a skx009 as well.

Hi Steve, just caught your channel, so I subscribed and will check out your other videos. Nice relaxed style, and a good tip for the bracelet. Keep them coming, regards.

Yup! The old uneven link trick! I've got a boney wrist and have been doing the same with all my watches now for a long time also I've noticed it helps stop the watch falling to one side all the time like if the Temp drops and your wrist shrinks a little my watch would slip round to the outside But with the uneven links it kinda keeps the balance better!

Steve great vid and great watch. Do yourself a favor though and get a strap code endmill for this. No dive extension, looks and feels great on wrist.

I don’t like that the bracelet doesn’t taper much. If it had a 4mm taper it would be great despite the flimsy clasp

True but regardless it has tank like build quality except the clasp

I have several Seiko divers but the bracelet on these is the worst. Adjustments are fiddly beyond belief. Seiko needs to improve this. No problems with my others. But take a link out and the collets/pins will not stay in place. As a result i hardly wear it.

@Marky Boy. Put the collar in the end it came out of, then put the pin in the other end with the thicker part near the top of the hole, and make sure neither fall out. Then push the pin and collar in from both sides of the link at the same time, using the correct size push pins, you should feel them move, push until they stop moving. They will lock together at the smaller part of the link in the middle, (the smaller part of the link that sticks out) and stay locked firmly together if you have done it correctly, and then you will have no problems. They will stay in place if you do it the way I described… hopefully what I put made sense to you. I hope it helps you.
