In my view Seiko has been killing off a lot of their great models and lowering quality across the board, but this model breaths some life back into a long term love I used to have for the brand. This is a clean, classy, well built, and honestly wonderful watch that gives me hope for Seiko! You ever considered doing a review of the Bulova Moon watch? :)

Thanks for dropping by! I gotta see if anyone wants to loan me that watch.

No doubt this watch is classy yet, it seems busy with all of the hands. At some point the watch becomes beautiful to look at more than use. Love the video!

Totally agree with your observations. Dial seems a bit busy with all the little subdials. I simply find it too big for this styling. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video! It would be nice if we can see the retrograde movement of the calender jump from 31 to 1. Also how to operate this watch as it looks complicated. Cheers

You’re right! I owe my viewers an apology for that. I actually filmed that part but the footage was unusable. When I realised during post-editing, watch was already returned to Eric. 😹

Honestly what is so special aboit this 'urushi'? I went to look at this watch, the dial looks so boring and dull. Wouldnt pay the extra premium just for that 'urushi'.
@AndyinSG Жыл бұрын
The premium may be due to the high level of craftsmanship required to apply this urushi dial. Or it could be some snake oil marketing by Seiko. See which version you prefer/believe.

@@AndyinSG Not snake oil. My black urushi dial looks premium.
