Thank you for the review. I have only 4 automatics in my collection, all Seiko. If I had to keep only one, it would be the SBDC065. It's a classic with rich Cyan blue dial.

Jeffrey McMahon but it lacks the drama of the domed sapphire on the 053 and 051. Beautiful watch though. 😊

I've had the 061, 063, 065, and 071. The 065 and 071 (blue hole & Padi) are ones I kept. This watch just hits all the points if you're okay with a 3hz movement. The dial is just absolutely mesmerising in person and easily the best sunburst dial in anything below 10k.

Manolo Castilla I have the 063 also. I like it better than the 065 as the dial is black and the shined bezel has that blue tone that in different lights goes from blue to black. The 063 is the one to go with out of all of the MM200’s, of course in my opinion.

I have the SBDC061. Its been one of my favorite dive watches I have owned...including Omega pO and a Rolex No Date Sub...Not comparing those one to the Seiko but enjoyment factor doesn't have to be dependent on price ..My wrist is 6.25'' and this watch wears perfectly. I wll probably have to get one of these too, even though I have the black dial, there is nothing else like this 'blue hole' version.

I am pretty sure that’s how Seiko does dials. They are pressed in or stamped up from bottom to look like applied. Kinda genius really, and looks good.

This is branding and price positioning for a certain range of a brand. The Rolex Submariner is an excellent watch but likewise, do you really think it is worth US$9,000?
