Seiko SBDC065/SPB083J1 "Great Blue Hole" Special Edition

I just bought this watch two weeks ago. I was going to check out some turtle models but then I saw this "Great Blue Hole". That blue dial is awesome. You just need to see this watch live and you'll forget what you were looking for at the first place. :) Beautiful design, nice bracelet, good movement (6R15)... I can't complain.

I´m a sucker for Seiko divers. I own this model. The dial is mesmerizing!!!!!!!!!!!you should mentiom that the case and bracelet has a dark grey tone. maybe his the diashiled treatment ? It looks like titanium

900,-€ (12. September. 2019) from Germany... But the new Longines Hydroconquest Diver II (available also in blue, black or grey) with ceramic bezel is the better decision. Alone the movement is much better and more accurate.

"as you can see..." this watch is very overpriced. Plus, Seiko's quality control is very questionable with this model line; lots of complaints on the forums about alignment and lack of lube for the movement.

It is overpriced, you could get the new Longines HydroConquest for this price which is a better watch on paper. This Seiko however does not have any alignment issues nor is the movement performing badly. It's just not as good as you could get in this price range. I do believe however that Seiko make up for this with their cool designs and the fact that Seikos generally hold their value quite well for being a mid tier brand. Especially these special and limited editions. But you're right, looking at the paper it is an overpriced watch haha. Thanks for watching. :)

What's up Shipmate, you're right about this specific watch being a bit overpriced. However, don't let your judgement about Seiko in general be influenced by pussboys like that beardy incel with his sudden Seiko hate after he has bought himself a Submariner and thinks it was a good deal.

Over a £grand for an auto Seiko? Seriously? Anyone buying this thing has infinitely more £££ than he has brain cells! Currently £1060 on Amazon UK. Utterly, utterly crazy.
