Just got one !!!! I really love the watch it’s going straight to my little watch collection Case with my Patek ,Audemars ROO my gold Paul new man and my chronomat Breitling . By the way that watch is underpriced and deserve to worth at least 3k ....

I got the Pepsi version of this watch which came on a silicone strap. I switched it out for a Rios 1931 leather strap which fits and wears very well. Excellent review.

Absolutely love the Samuari line! Just bought a Padi Samurai today and got one heck of a deal! $380 our the door from an AD !Really love the Two color lume on the dial & the red lined minute hand plus the beautiful wave design on the dial instead of the waffle even though I love the waffle. Awesome review & channel!!!Can’t wait to buy the gun metal grey & gold!

Thorough and very informative review ! Great job, pal ! And I agree with your views and opinions on this new model in all but one: The Monster Hands. If there is a thing I really have hard time coming to grip to it is arrow hands. Omega springs to mind immediately. Then some Breitling models, then Seiko divers... I find them too aggressive and obnoxious. Individual taste preferences aside this new Seiko Samurai is an excellent watch in its category !

I almost didn't recognize this thumbnail as a Watch Geek show. Good one. Great review. I agree this type of bracelet doesn't benefit a smaller wrist because we don't get to see the T as it curves underneath the case and lugs. This is really a cushion shaped case and it makes it fit well on smaller wrists. Nice job.

I've been wanting a Samurai for a while now. Love a textured dial, hate a stamped deployant. But that wave dial, Omega on the cheap, seals the deal. A nice companion to my actual Omega Speedy.

Just ordered this via “A” with full warranty, shipped, for $299. Authorized Seiko dealer, etc. Certainly there is no more excellent diver for that cost. And aside from just the “deal” aspect, I love every detail re features, etc. Now if they only made the band long enough for my 8.5” wrist. BTW: very excellent presentation here. Thanks.

@@seanm3226 Got mine via Amazon after checking out the dealer and sending them questions. Just make sure they’re an authorized Seiko dealer. Folks I got mine from now have a huge price increase. You can do better.

I am contemplating a second one in Blue or possibly a modded one, something about the angular case shape and the way a somewhat large watch fits on my wrist with a Zulu Strap, has me at HELLO! I can't quite explain why I want more than one, I was never really that into watches in the last 10 years, but I really like something about this one. before I had several CASIO divers for nearly a decade and always wanted a SEIKO, but I think SEIKO created an instant modern classic just in the case alone. On size, I have a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch that looks horrible on my wrist, its comically large and bugs the shit out of me even with a cloth stap, its just annoying, but the Samurai case looks really good and I am actually preferring the wearing of the Samurai over the smartwatch. I too would have preferred a full sized marker at the 3 o'clock, with a lower black date window, reminiscent of the Timex Lollipop diver tha thad a black dial and black date window that was just smooth...ooh and that rocketship formation of the minute and hour hand is Awesome! I actually enjoy that small moment of detail!

Mine´s a similar story, except they found out only after a couple of days. So i got surgery just two three days after the accident (i fell of a enduro motorcycle on my parents driveway) so i only had to go with a plaster for four weeks.
