I have the same problem, i had the 39 european limited light blue. Too small. I reselled it and bought this one in red ❤ don't stuck with something you don't like. You can always sell it to someone else, even if you loose a few bucks. And get what you want 😊

neat how the lug to lug on these 41s are basically the same as the 39mm variants As for the date,Seiko puts that there because the general watch market likes them many people won't buy a watch without a date.

I believe so, my Hamilton interstellar is 48 and it’s slightly smaller

It's very attractive, but I think Seiko's are a bit overpriced for what they are. I respect what they are. but they have some real QC problems and Grand Seiko proves they can make timepieces without QC issues when they want to. I mean, at $350 I could overlook things like misaligned bezels and what have you, but $700 and up? Nope.
