This was great! Seriously, who were the guys that Jerry was playing poker with? They were never seen before and never seen again in the entire series. It was repeatedly told to us that his only friends were George, Elaine and Kramer, but now all of a sudden there's four guys that he plays poker with on a semi-regular basis? And they only appear for seven seconds in the entire series and are never even mentioned again? Who are they? Where did they come from? How does Jerry know them? How long has he known them? Where do they live? How often do they play poker? So many unanswered questions!

@@ReadingPokerTells it's a really touchy point, maybe if these people feel so bad about their gambling habits as to feel so strongly bitter over this, they should address these warning signs of addiction rather than misinterpret and insult those who address it. Also, since so many people are commenting in the same manner, perhaps it's an indication gambling is a widespread problem, also an indication it can make people lose their sense of humour through the impact the addiction may have on their souls.

Seinfeld is a show about four modern human failures of relative levels of societal success, in essence - about the innate corruption inscribed in modern urban living. that close to so many people all the time, you grow a detestation for true human connection. the show is about egoic urbanity shuttering intimacy, the inability to draw lasting connection - these four, sacrificed their bloodline, for the whims of the city. it is entertaining, in fact the best, because it is so dark in its accepted nihilism; these people are the worst, but I love to watch them fumble.
