funny about that statement because its actually incredibly genius. if you trick yourself into believing something you will believe it eventually. lie detectors work by the person watching the needle move based on your heart rate. if they ask you something that's a lie your heart will jump because you're preparing yourself for something that you know might get you in trouble. if you actually made yourself believe it through repetition you wouldn't be afraid to answer and tell them the 'truth'
