I grew calendula for the 1st time last year. I infused them in oil and made my own salve. So good for healing and really good lip balm as well! Definitely growing more this year!!

Calendula is natural and really good! I have used witch hazel plain ole witch hazel as a toner since inwas a young teen I’m 55 now and everyone remarks on my skin too so I never suffered wkth acne pimples just odd one a month for my period and it’s got to be my witch hazel as a toner. Give it a try. Some days I dilute it on a cotton ball inwent the ball with water and put w/hazel on top and it’s fine. Give it a try

My elementary age daughter had this for several years, mouth nose and eyes. Took her to her pediatrician who laughed at me, admitted she'd never heard of perioral dermatitis, but prescribed a cream (that stipulated do not use near eyes or nose) and cost $120 per .02 ounce. What I did was what you found. Tea tree based facial cleanser, squalene and calendula cream. Gone with in a week. Now we watch her food intake and record when we see flare ups. Dairy! seems to be her trigger. She can still consume dairy, but limited.

I think you solved my Skin Issue! I never heard of Perioral Dermatitis but it sounds more like that then the Eczema diagnosis which nothing they give helps... So I can say this.. I NEVER had a problem when I was using then "Maskara" Makeup.. I loved it.. But then I started getting Boxycharm and stock piled every kind of makeup and skin care thing you can imagine..I wanted to try new things.. Some things were great.. most I don't use or gave to my Daughters .. And I have been beating my head in trying to figure out why I keep getting this flaky Peeling super irritated skin just in the Chin area.. The only thing that calms it down a bit is Colloidal Silver.. I never thought of Calendula! I used it on the kids years ago.. So they say that some makeups.. some skin care can really flare this crap up.. I just ordered what I used to use from Seint! The other thing that we had that was similar is I was also diagnosed with Skin Cancer and had to have surgery on my forehead.. I think I looked like Quasi Modo for a few weeks.. My kids thought I looked like "The Rock" my eyebrow was a little high on one side for awhile till everything fell in place.. Lol They said it's ok Mom.. You just look like you always do when you give us "The Look".. lol KIDS! My Daughter's Wedding is in June so I'm looking forward to having my New Makeup on hand.! Thanks Harm!

My poor 12 year old daughter dealt with PD last year. It initially starts with wearing the wrong kind of masks at school but it got worse when her primary doctor kept prescribing steroid cream which you are NOT supposed to do! After months of lots of trial and error we found the right specialist and he prescribed lightweight lotion clindamycin and pimecrolimus cream and 6 months of alternating antibiotics and that is the ONLY thing that helped.
