У них есть расточной станок, который крепится на блок, можно было расточить на машине прям. Такого я честно сказать не видел в странах бывшего СССР. Всегда надо тащить блок целиком. Так что можно стебаться уже в нашу сторону. Последние тиски в металл сдали.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a block sleeved to take a standard size liner before. Generally when the block won’t take the larger oversize liner available we toss the block in the scrap pile.

I would plug the bolt holes in the head before re boring because it might be very hard to get shavings out and it might lead to head bolts to bottom out and cause insufficient head bolt torque. Seen it happening more than once.

Sliding (and grease) rather than an interference fit for those liners raise thermal resistance between the hot liner and the cooler block causing local hot spots on the liner, ring binding and engine failure … just saying.

Прикольно, сразу не понял. Крайний цилиндр имел так называемый сэндвич - гильза в гильзе. Видимо блок уже столько раз ремонтировался, что посадочное место под гильзу пришлось ремонтировать ремонтной вставкой. Вот её то они и растачивали. Вот только вопрос - зачем дергать старые гильзы и ставить их на место??? Новые не судьба поставить? Мы такое называем БОМЖ-РЕМОНТ.

real professional job with precision tools. They use a precision hammer, piece of pipe for driving out the old sleeve and a piece of sand paper on a wood block to resurface the block. Real precision job. Oh and their work uniforms are impressive also pajamas and sandals. Yea real precision job guaranteed for 2 blocks or 50 feet which ever comes first.

3:54 - Come on guys! This is not a “tight fit”! This is a non-fitting liner. And apart from it being almost impossible to remove, the stresses on the cylinder liner will be much higher at high engine temperatures. This due to the already present preloading forces on the liner (of hammering it in). This liner will damage very easily during use. And this (15:52) is a too lose fit for the liner! This lose fit will cause issues with heat transfer between liner and cylinder wall. With the two situations, of both an overstressed and a too lose liner, this engine is surely going to die when it gets in a high load situation.
