About the first story; being disabled in Japan is really, really difficult. For one thing is that they don't have much support and they are generally looked down upon and even discriminated against. It's rather unlike here in the US where even without the protective laws we are generally nice to the disabled and go out of our way to help them. It one of the downsides to their homologous-style culture, for those who fit the mold things are vary good, but for those who don't things can be vary difficult. That's why that story really resonated with me, cause it means that there are people in my all but second home country who want to change that.

two things sadly, I’m not surprised but disappointed about your comment about Japan but I’m going to add when it comes to America. It depends on what disability you have and what state you are living in because depending on your disability, and what state you are living in you could be completely screwed over case in point I have a traumatic brain injury, and my disability gets overshadowed like nobody’s business when I went to school just because my social flaws it cost find my disability are similar to autism I got placed in a program for autism, but I do not learn in the same way people with autism typically do so it really depends on your disability and where you are living that dictates if you get the support you need.

@@InvaderMedia420 Thank you for that insight, I didn't know about that at all and it ticks me off to know that there are disabilities overlooked like that here in the US.
@InvaderMedia420

@@davidpatterson9221 don’t feel bad. The only reason it really is overlooked is funding, whereas very likely in Japan events they had the funding. I wouldn’t be surprised if they still had problems with how they are handling it.
@InvaderMedia420
@InvaderMedia420 7 ай бұрын
also, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t if it had the funding but because they don’t, they have to go with what is the most common disability and send the funding to programs based around taking care of people with that disability

@@InvaderMedia420 I'm sorry you had to deal with that as well. Its just like you said. Even here in the US, even if they have the funding to help us, very few have even the slightest idea on how to do so properly.

It kind of is depressing in a way. Especially because we dont know what makes the older VAs leave. Heck even on the main nana kuma bear channel they used the same 2 VAs but changed a few months ago and while the original 2 VAs are still around on other channels, wjy the change? Why not mix the VAs up? Heck i watched a few older videos from a year ago and even the comments are different. It feels and looks like i see the same names in the comments over and over again until the point where i only comment if i have issues with the characters in the videos and see borderline insane takes on the characters

About the first story, society in Japan treats disabled people very harshly and they find it hard to get any job. Also they get bullied in school and university. There are some people who are not like that and treats disabled people kindly but those some people don't have power in society. It's so sad that people get treated like that for something they have no control over.

Why is it in these stories the mc’s never respond to being talked to like a dog. By the time they DO finally say anything the misinformation and rumors are completely out of control. “It’s a waste of energy to talk to them” he says lol. Because of his cowardice it’s the child who suffers. The worst part of this whole thing is when he DEFENDS the woman who was cheating on her husband and making fun of him 😮

Well a couple hundred years ago it was basically a death sentence if your caretakers died. The treatment you currently see is barely a 100 years old. Even in my childhood "cripples and/or retards" were actively prosecuted like black people. Now that we've figured out autism is a thing, and that "retards" just need alternate teaching methods and viola they are productive citizens. Physically handicap can usually just be given a desk job or special controls and boom, now they are delivery driver.

To base everything off of where you graduated instead of the experiences you have made thru working afterwards is pathetic. You do not get real world experience in school but after you graduate and get into working daily. Its like a foundation. You start at the base with some knowledge and work your way to the future thru experiences and hopefully you do not run into to many hurdles. School does not prepare you for everything so to even suggest your better then someone else just because of an educational background and no real experience or achievements yet is just really pathetic. Anyone who thinks that should at least prove they are good at what they do over time before opening their mouth to make unneeded comments or thinking they are better then someone with many more years of experience who are ALSO THEIR BOSS.

Ah Kansai region please never change 30:24 that is an actual thing that happens quite often with large corporations in Japan. The Tokyo product is the best then as it’s distributed west and factories make the switch to manufacturing that product most of the time when it reaches the Kansai region namely my hometown of Osaka the products have issues or defects or quirks you might say that weren’t the original intended purpose of the product but we manage to find it. I kinda like seeing stuff like this in English anime and manga it creates a teachable moment for my children.
