Mizuki wasn't dumb enough to think that there was nothing going on. They weren't even trying to hide it, really. What happened to Iyo and Tomoya afterwards: both of them got disowned by their parents after they got sued for damages by Tomoya's ex fiancée and Mizuki for having a affair. Not to mention that Tomoya and Iyo got fired and his relationship with Iyo went crumble after blaming each other for their downfall, which end their relationship. Iyo tries to get back together with Mizuki even when she got blocked but only to find out that he's already have a girlfriend named Yuna, she went shocked and livid and then she left in defeat.

A childhood friend is nothing more than just any other friend if someone is already in a relationship or married, even if they're the same gender. I almost thought that Iyo was just an airhead but even airheaded people wouldn't crossed that line. She was cheating with her so-called "childhood friend" named Tomoya. She always meet with him every time every opportunity even when she on a date with MC and she has no considerations of his feelings. I felt like it was more intended so that MC would leave them eventually without knowing they both had an affair in reality. But unfortunately they were both caught instead, Iyo had to pay alimony to MC and Tomoyo also got what he deserved. They both deserved each other since they always "together" 😂 Its too late for Iyo for trying to get back since she has no respect for him as a fiance.
