Good morning, my friend. I have a problem with the Sekhmet meter; it flickers during charging. Can you help me with identifying the issue and its solution? Thank you. The meter is 25mm. Would you like any additional help or details on this?

Hi Phil, So if I'm understanding you correctly the quad washer is already inside of the FX Maverick? And we only need to take the additional washer place it over that and then install the sekhmet gauge, am I understanding this correctly?

@AlexTheLi0n yes correct, the quad washer is already in the maverick. Try first without the additional washer, if alignment is good and no leaks, you're done. If bad alignment try with the additional washer.

I was interested to hear about your slower first shot after storage, my Maverick also does this, have you been able to determine how long it takes before this occurs ? I've ordered one of the 25mm Sekhmet gauges for my rifle, shot to shot consistency seems to require a certain regulator and hammer spring pressure, adjusting the power wheel to a lower setting and keeping the same reg setting for lighter ammo seems to adversely affect shot spread, I will need to find the best regulator and hammer spring setting for each pellet or slug, this is different to my Crown MK2 which allows me to use a fixed regulator setting and adjust the power wheel to suit different ammo.

It's not the amount of time, it's the number of bar. My Maverick creeps 6-7 bar in 12 hours and 3-4 bar in 4 hours. When it creeps 4 bar for the same hammer setting you will start to see the drop in velocity because there is more resistance on the valve. Yes, lighter ammo requires a lower reg pressure to maintain a single digit ES. If you have not watched the video for the quick tune system you should watch it and let me know what you think (link in description). I have no experience with the crown, but I would expect the working FPE range is lower then for the Maverick because of the smaller plenum in the Crown. My avenger had a working range of 40-53 FPE with a 172 bar reg pressure. I would never change the reg pressure, because it always ran out of plenum before it ran out of pressure. The range for my .25 Mav is 40-72 FPE with the same hammer weight and no tools. Thanks for commenting!

@@ShootingWithPhil2023 Absolutely top info, spot on about the Crown with the tiny plenum. I'll be able to watch out for reg creep soon - the digital gauge should turn up this week.

@Strike2Kill I'm not sure on that one. Electronics are not my strong suite.
