@@pythonking16.59 it’s when you finish the game and do another playthrough with all your items carried over. Normally a new game plus NG+ has increased difficulty

@@pythonking16.59 in Sekiro NG+ the difficulty goes up for each NG+ up to 7. And you have the option to give Kuro back his charm making the game even harder

It's fresh and have his own gameplay etc. Why there are people who cry about something like this? I know, dark souls is good too but why the devs shouldn't be able to try very other and new things like sekiro? Real talk, I don't want copy and paste games like Far Cry or Assassins Creed which feels all the same. Or Fifa XD But its okay if people think so and if Sekiro disappoints them. Its just really sad to see how the gaming genre becomes more and more dumb just because of people who love generic stuff.

I usually use mist raven so I don't take dmg he doesn't reverse that one tho so I never knew he even could till this video, you can also reverse the lightning using the sakura dance you get from beating inner genichiro

Just a tip for everyone having trouble with Inner Emo boi, do your best to deflect all three strikes of his new helicopter move as after you deflect all strikes, you can perform a quick Ichimonji double on him and he wont be able to deflect the two of them

even better is if you deflect the 2 first ones, and step dodge the 3rd one. You get either get 3 free hits or use your healing gourd or a buff

@@horizon5856 This works perfectly for phase 1 and 2 but you can be unpredictably caught by the 3rd slash sometimes in the Way of Tomoe phase so probably better to deflect all 3 spins

Can confirm, I thought I was a genius for deflecting the first two and step dodging into his third slash, then bonking him with ichimonji double. Then phase 3 comes around and the strategy falls apart :))

I sort of wish he did the reverse up to a random number in a max of 5 reverses, with each reverse doing a bit less damage to your health to compensate for the amount, but imagine how scary that would be "Is it gonna be 2 is it gonna be 5?"

For final phase u can easily stunlock infinitely by r1 wait for bow r1 wait for bow. It infinitely loops him into using bow all u gotta do is slightly delay each r1

It is. The Sakura Dance move is really fast with incredible range, and if you block it without deflecting, you'll lose like 15% health. Of course, if you're accustomed to fighting Genichiro, you'll adapt to it in no time.

Excellent fight, but quick question, how come you jump over the sweep attacks instead of using a more posture damaging move, such as High Monk or Senpou High Kick? Or even, as I discovered, the new combat art you get from beating Inner Genichiro?

With this version of the bossfight, it's probably safer to go for a jump kick counter, as Genichiro usually follows his sweep attacks with an arrow shot and the new Sakura Dance move, gaining hyper armor through the whole process.

I kind of wish Inner Isshin had the same lightning reversal but he could do a normal lightning reversal or a thrust lightning reversal to where if you counter it your weapon gets enchanted with lightning for a few seconds and does more damage instead of just the flat-out shock status effect because that status effect is broken. How would the lightning enchantment work well you stomp down on the weapon and get a small shock through your body and it goes to your blade for the effect to work and somewhat make sense and of course you do take a bit of damage too.
