A little late but u can run if u hold the dodge button. that would’ve helped for the ape farts doodoo throwing and scream, dodging and running will help with a decent amount of bosses mainly mini bosses but deflecting is most effective, there is a guy near the dilapidated temple to the right of the idol that u can train with to get better at deflecting and dodging, u can also increase attack power after defeating bosses with battle memories and vitality(health) with 4 prayer beads at idols. Also get the mikiri counter skill if u didn’t already

everytime he does that big attach where he raises the sword, if you deflect it, it will be guaranteed 5-6 free hits after

If u use the spear prosthetic after deflecting that attack u can pull the centipede out for extra damage too

@KyQew literally go into the poison pool that's right here at the ape but go down and backwards from the ape youll come across the ashina depths get an easy-ish mini boss of a snake eyes and there's a BIG CAVE area, with a lot of blood on the ground and there's only one path forward up to where the water flows and you'll find mibu village just get one sculptor idol there and then come back to the albino gorilla
