Woah I’ve fought isshin 100s of times and I’ve never seen that coughing animation. I’m guessing he only does that if you perfectly deflect that combo.

Dope as hell! And the presentation looks very professional too, which I think is worth pointing out :) Having tried it now that tight extra slash before the brellaflect of the airslices really sells the feeling, I get that brief stomach-drop before I realize I'm good and it adds weight to the brellaflect somehow XD That'll probably fade as I do it more though, but for now it's awesome!

Man if these modders can come with more creative ways to do so then I'm all for it! Unfortunately, I have yet to Sword Only Deflect vanilla version's of One Mind. It is so damn difficult. Its up there with Geni's Floating Passage. Either pure luck or just 'git gud' godlike skill LOL.

You know what's interesting. One Mind does 7.4 times the damage of a normal swing where as Spiral cloud passage does just 7.0 times the damage.(The Strongest attack being two Mortal blade swings for 11 times the damage of a normal sword swing followed by the maximum charge fire umbrella with 8.8) I think one mind belonged to Isshin and is simple yet effective while spiral cloud mightve belonged to the Sculptor and is just about raw energy and aggression. Both techniques even have the same multislash effect to it. (Which I theorize bight be many Projected forces) And even though One Mind is stronger on paper as a shinobi you use any tricks to win at any cost. So by adding special effects the move becomes stronger.

Hey I have some questions on your technique on blocking Isshin's One Mind. I have a post of yours bookmarked from 10 months ago that I have used to study how to deal with this move. So I am a deflect and attack only player. I have 350 hours in game and your video really helped But a bizarre problem has emerged So for the last day 3 months I have been practicing the 100% deflect of One Mind from your video and here is the weird problem: I got really good at it to the point I could fully deflect just like in your video about 80% of the time BUT the last month I seem to be getting worse and I honestly don't understand and its one very very specific part of the fight It's the moment he releases the flames. For some reason about 80% of the time I am dying to the flames and I just have no idea why. I am right up in his face when he is winding up One Mind and I always successfully deflect the first two strikes, I then move directly in front of him the moment the flames release to prep for that one single hit he releases the moment the 'orb' of flashing swords starts but something is happening where when I move in to him the flames just keep killing me. I honestly have truly zero clue what does and does not lead to getting wiped out by the flames. Read more The hard part is not long ago the flames were literally not causing a issue.....but now I am at a 20% success rate because of this bizarre situation. So how do you avoid not getting ingulfed by the flames ???

Gosh this is so satisfying to see really wish I could try deflecting the 222 The consecutive 4 slashes is tricky but ever since I did the shura ending and learned it can deflect 4 slashes endlessly😁

Hi Joe, doubt you will read this but any advice on how to deflect One Mind circle moves without umbrella? Is it just mash 4 times as quick as possible or is it tap tap - slight delay - tap tap? I always get 3 but mess up the 4th.
