@@brilliantbrooklyn2898 oh yeah I know, she lip synced for live shows only tv only though. She never lip synced during live shows and most of the time during some of her videos on YT, she isn’t lip syncing they just put her original audio over it cus the audio has been messed up over the years.

@@marrallo she peaked at f5 but it was squeezed, her head voice was nice tbh she could go over a c6, I think she was a lyric mezzosoprano due to her light tone yet she didn't have ease in the fifth octave her tessitura bloomed mostly on the middle range and she felt comfortable belting there, I also think she could access whistle register on her song dreaming of you, you can hear a slight whistle on the background vocal during the climax, she had much potential but she didn't train classically her dad was her coach mostly, she had a wide range on chest voice now imagine if she had been trained and learned to use mix voice

I still get chills listening to her and watching her but mostly when I sing along with her! She has been my vocal inspiration since I was 11. Unfortunately I cannot sing like her but I can keep wishing! My daughter has danced at 2 of her tributes in Odessa, TX. Danced in the same coliseum Selena many times did for the Super Tejano Carshow, we got to see Pete and A.B perform live! One year Abraham Q was in the backstage area and we met Suzette. I love her...Selena truely lives forever 💜

Nothing compares to her. Nothing will ever come close to being as nice and as generous and her. She really did do her music for her fans and family. Most celebrities do it for fame or money she did do it for her fans, family and because she loved singing! I miss her so much. I wasn’t even born when she died and it feels like she is still here. I don’t even speak Spanish and I sing along still (I understand most of the lyrics in her music) I really am so happy that she is rising in popularity again.

A true icon. In my humble opinion she was to good for this world. We didn’t deserve her. I’m just glad god graced us with this beautiful angel for a little bit. In all honesty I think the music industry and the way people are, especially with social media, would have broken her down and destroyed her spirit.

Super Shepherd she only lip-synced when she did certain tv shows (these shows for example: siempre en domingo, padrisimo, Johnny canales )because she had no choice. Chris said she didn’t like to do it, so every time you see a lip sync performance it was televised and they made her do it
